Brown doesn't have a future as a LB. I'm ok with that. Brown is the most dynamic WR we have had in almost 20 years. And people are whining about him not tackling someone. Geez. 

This is just a reminder how much the NFL has changed from an all out effort, gritty, smash mouth sport to a business, entertainment, industry. 

If they would of put Mailata at running back they wouldn't have these problems

It's called having an IQ unless you think there is a medical law that says year ending injuries can't happen in October. He's what is fueling the offense as one of the top WR in the game. If he can make a tackle, cool. If not I don't care if he pisses every person like you off he needs to stay healthy.

Frankly I don’t mind guys making business decisions anymore. Maybe if Mialata doesn’t try and make that tackle he stays in the game and isn’t hurt right now. People still kill Ricky Watters for the "for who for what” comment, but if the dude gets laid out in that game and is out for the year then the Eagles don’t make the playoffs. Sometimes you have to lose smaller battles to win the bigger war. That’s what Wentz never got and why he kept getting injured when the team needed him the most.

Siriani has said all the injured players have a chance to play Week 5. Sounds like we have avoided any long term injuries which is great.

My comment was a shot at random regular always wanting our lineman to play running back. 

Sounds like birg are gunna be fine. 

As far as brown goes, if you are on the field,you should be helping the team anyway you can.  That includes wr's making tackles sometimes.  Playing not to get hurt always gets someone hurt.

I think the issue is the lack of effort bud. In the end he stepped up, made some big plays and contributed to the win. But if we would have lost yesterday then he would have rightly been heavily criticised.

Nope, still don't want our star receiver putting his body on the line to tackle a guy and being out multiple games just to hopefully win 1 game. Mailata put the effort in and missed the rest of the game. Brown puts himself on the line plenty catching tough passes across the middle.

Oh I'm not going to argue that bud. You are right there he does put his body on the line a lot. It wasn't that he didn't make a tackle it was the way he clearly put no effort in to his run. We know he's fast.

It was also early first quarter so the game wasn't on the line. We don't know if he plays that different if it was later in the game. I'd be more inclined to criticize the effort if it was later in the game but, with basically a whole game to play I think he did the right thing and just let it go. 

For everybody whining about Brown not tackling, if he'd tried to tackle the guy and got hurt, you'd be whining about Hurts throwing into double coverage.

This and a few other comments just doesn't make sense to me. That tackle would've been too easy. It's not like he would've put himself at risk for making a simple tackle when the guy ran right past him. You and others are basically saying you're ok if guys give little effort and just let it go for a pick 6. 

If anything he was more at risk of a blind sided block which is as dangerous as can be the way he just lolly gagged and let Cisco run past him instead of getting engaged. Defenders love taking cheap shots at the offense.
