Thoughts?

The Common Cold and the Flu, both of which are classified as Corona Virus' is how your body detoxifies itself, the last thing you want to do is stop those symptoms.

So no, never had a flu shot and never will get one, give me the runny nose, sneezing, coughing up mucus and etc, I always feel brand new when the symptoms subside.

yep

Never bothered

Haven’t gotten it in at least 15 years.

I'm covered.

I can't decide if this post is crazy or retarded.

Always get the flu shot, it's a no brainer in my mind.  I have to admit though, I don't understand people on here saying that they will get the new Covid shot but not the flu shot.  Makes no sense to me...get both!

You've obviously never had the flu.  Try intense fever, coughing so hard that blood comes up and being out of work for at least a week...exhausted for a month after.

I'm in great shape and have had it twice...never been sicker in my life.  If you are a healthy person Covid is a walk in the park compared to Influenza.

Not every flu is the same. I've had the flu 3 times. Once was really bad. The last time was the one winter I didn't get a flu shot. It's always been more than coughing and sneezing. Fever and body aches are always enough to make me just want to lay down and do nothing. It's worth it to just get the shot. I've heard the whole "the flu shot gave me the flu" from several people. Medical professionals assure me that this is not possible.

Some people report having mild side effects after flu vaccination. The most common side effects from flu shots are soreness, redness, tenderness or swelling where the shot was given. Low-grade fever, headache and muscle aches also may occur. If these reactions occur, they usually begin soon after vaccination and last 1-2 days.

Side effects from the nasal spray flu vaccine may include: runny nose, wheezing, headache, vomiting, muscle aches, fever, sore throat and cough. If these problems occur, they usually begin soon after vaccination and are mild and short-lived. The most common reactions people have to flu vaccines are considerably less severe than the symptoms caused by actual flu illness.

Can the vaccine give me the flu or other respiratory diseases?

No. The flu vaccine can't give you the flu. It also does not increase your risk of COVID-19. But you might develop flu-like symptoms — despite getting a flu vaccine — for a variety of reasons, including:

I just spoke with Jesus and he had a message to me about you.

It might not be exact wording because I had to translate from Judean Aramaic to Koine Greek to modern English.

But it was something along the lines of "please tell EagleVA to shut the F up"

The "F" part may have been lost a bit in translation, but the the word in question in the dialect in Galilee in that time frame usually refers to records of tribesmen that have been banished for having carnal relations with goats that belong to someone else. The word appears in the clause related to the goat relations, not to the banishment, so you can read between the lines.

I've never had a flu shot and probably never will. Been doing pretty good these past 58 years no reason to change now.

Jesus is an admin on the EMB? Who would have thought?

Never have. Don’t plan to.

I don’t think I’ve gotten the flu before, at least to my knowledge. A couple colds, but from what I understand the flu is supposed to knock you out for a while.

Yeah it's usually 24-48 hours with a fever and body aches. Having had both the flu and Covid, they are similar. Covid was worse for me because it kicked the ish out of my blood pressure, and fluid would collect on my lungs when I tried to sleep causing me to wake up gasping for air.

Yeah, COVID was no joke.

They say it's going to be bad every year

I'll get it if I remember. I forgot last year
