Hey!  No, but I’ve been going on the Eagles site to look at stats and one day I got itchy fingers and thought I’d go check out the MB…and I couldn’t find it.  My first fear was some cowball fan was raped and tortured so they had decided to shut the MB down.  Then I thought, wow, I might never be able to check in on my fellow Eagles buds.  I set some time aside one day to look for it and found it.  It looks like you guys really went all out to keep the dream alive.  Freakin awesome!  Sorry so long-winded Va.  nice to see ya too.

Dave announced the board closing due to 'inactivity', but gave us 2 weeks to say our 'goodbyes'. In less than an hour, we had a go fund me page, new URL, hosting package and the board software installed. A day or two later, I hired someone to duplicate the EMB skin, and the rest is history lol. 

 

 

If you can find your old profile in the member list archive ( Click Here ), send me the link and I'll set your stats to include your old post count and likes. That archive won't work like the board works. You have to click each individual page to open it and then search for yourself. If you want to see some of the other stuff that we archived, you can go here:

Thanks, it was most definitely a group effort both in work and funding (the board has its own bank account with close to $2k at the moment).

The New EMB is about 2 and a half years old now. A few months ago, we surpassed 1 Million posts. Just imagine how it would be if there hadn't been that dreaded 'inactivity' that the Eagles cited as the reason to abandon us lol.

Best way to help out, without going out of pocket, is just do what you do. Visit, post and if you use Amazon for any and all purchases, use the EMB's affiliate link to make those purchases. This year, we're close to $600 or $700 in commissions from Amazon alone.
