Dawkins had to have emergency surgery last night, his stomach got twisted. Thankfully surgery went well and updates have been positive

Just random Maggie pics.

Her at doggie daycare, in the backyard, and in one of her favorite spots to nap and "human watch” which is at our front door.

Such an awesome dog.

I'd love to have a dog like Maggie, but I'm conflicted on the Astroturf lawn

Thanks! She is a great dog. She is kind, gentle, sweet, friendly, she doesn't cry or whine or bark that much, great with kids and adults. Doesn't chew the furniture or knock over our trash cans in our house, LOL. Growing up I had a Golden Retriever that did that.

The pic with the Astroturf lawn is at her daycare, not my backyard. I'm assuming the daycare likes that instead of natural grass as there are so many dogs running around on it every day. Easier to maintain and clean, I would think.

It does looks like a really cool dog camp

BTW... she have enough toys for god's sake?

Yeah no I’m not watching that. I don’t need to be crying on a Friday afternoon. I need to be drinking!

I love her colors, Joe.

What’s the breed?

She’s a Boston terrier.

Funny story. My wife sent me some pics of her before we decided to get her. This was one pic…

Of course, the first thing you notice is she’s an Eagles fan lol. Then I see they had named her Maggie. My first thought was Lace’s dog is Maggie. So we go to pick her up and she’s with a Mennonite  family. The mom comes out with the dog and her daughter was holding another one. The mom mentions she knew we looked at Maggie but she wasn’t sure which one was Maggie and asked if we wanted to see both. So the daughter hands the dog she was holding to my wife and immediately she starts licking my wife’s face. The mom hands me the other which was very similar in appearance.

We ended up picking the one my wife was holding and after we got home, we were kind of wondering if we ended up with Maggie. Once we compared pics, we realized they had different facial markings so we didn’t take Maggie after all, but that was fine. Both were adorable and needed a good home.

Brody seems to have some jealousy issues when I’m playing with her but I’m sure he’ll adjust. She likes to climb all over him when he’s laying down and she nips at his tail, but surprisingly he hasn’t growled at her yet for that. It’s going to take time for them both to adjust obviously.

We have had three dogs at the same time for the last twenty years...... Obviously not all the same pups....they have a pack mentality and will adjust.
