Months before the draft I had mentioned how I like Tariq Woolen. You can go back and look it up. I know there were others. He's been playing damn good this season. Other than that post and the ones explaining, I haven't said a word about it.

It's football talk. There's players everyone was right and wrong about. Hurts had a lot of questions about his game going into this season. Rightfully so... he answered those. That's great. Let's move on

I was obviously openly critical of Hurts in the off-season. We all know that. He's played great and, I've admitted being wrong and have even defended his play at times this season when others have started harping. The issue is, that if every word out of anyone's mouth isn't just praise, it gets labeled as a troll.

Let me give an example. I said I couldn't fault his play at all this season. I really can't. That was immediately met with accusations of trolling and discrediting his season. Never said a bad word in the post, but people jumped on.

That's fine, but if you want to "avoid drama" then at least recognize that certain people that **** about it stir the pot just as much, if not more. It goes both ways.

But none of that will happen here. I would imagine the level of pushback you will get in this thread when you criticize Hurts will be much less than in the Hurts thread or the blog. So I don't get why you would ever leave this place.

Should not have to be that way.  And as Mod6 pointed out, the majority of reports on the board come from the blog.  The blog and the people in it take themselves way to seriously, and if you are called out about an opinion, you run to the ignore and report features.

So one blog is overrun by stupid people, and this one is apparently for the stupid people to come fight in.

Where do we go for the good old fashioned reasonably intelligent football discussion?

It's hard to reconcile the fact that some people here seemingly want to have a good faith discussion and at the same time also want to coordinate a trolling effort.

Yes, AJ Brown will set a career high in numbers, only because he is going to play every game.  It has nothing to do with Hurts, it has to do with health.

Same with Miles, is is because of health, and being used as he should.  

It has nothing to do with Jalen Hurts.

 

Tyreek Hill is going to smash his previous best season numbers.  Are you going to tell me Tua is better than Mahomes ??
