I'm not sure about now because Qanon kind of took ownership of it, but 9-11 conspiracies were far left about 15 years ago. There was a conspiracy video called "Loose change" that was a lot of commie nonsense about corporations staging 9-11.

I can’t deny the left has conspiratorial people in the party, but did John Kerry run on it in 2004? No, he would have been laughed off the primary stage…

As Van pointed out, it’s mainstream republican electoral clout.

Wait, is this statement supposed to be in support of Jones?

He picks retarded positions and argues them to death with utter nonsense. Jones is just his "flavor of the moment" right now.

What are the far left conspiracies? The gulf war was about oil and not WMD’s? Trickle down economics doesn’t help blue collar workers?

Sure, there are crazies on both sides, but maga has no rival…

Who funded Alex Jones and built his platform?

The pre-COVID antivax movement was largely on the left.  While the sovereign citizen movement started on the right, it has metastasized to the left as the Moorish sovereign citizen movement.  Unfounded GMO conspiracy theories started on the left.  Back in the 80s, it was not uncommon to hear that the government was withholding a completed vaccine to intentionally allow minorities and gays to be killed off by AIDS.

i think the far left and the far right switched over since 9-11.

2000 was Rage against the Machine, F the man, F the government, being the far left.

Now the far left is, trust the gubbermment, we need more gubberment would do no wrong, gubberment says get the jab

Yeah, the party of the New Deal and the Great Society just became pro government intervention in the last few years.

Ummm no. That guy makes a living by not only believing every conspiracy theory there is, but inventing a ton that don't even make sense. There are only 3 real and valid conspiracy theories...

  1. JFK was assassinated by the CIA
  2. The NBA draft lottery is rigged every year
  3. the patriots cheated against the eagles in '04

Sure… but how democrat campaign teams said "If we get the democrat anti vaxxers to turn out and vote, we have this election in the bag”?

Two things:

1. This will be yet another nothingburger. @Gannan is right that Oswald was no doubt an asset that worked with the CIA -- no way he renounced his US citizenship, moves to the Soviet Union, then somehow just comes back into the USA without that help. But...many people were assets of the CIA worked for information, or being developed as potential sources. The idea that the CIA pulled off the assassination of a US President and managed to keep it under wraps for almost 60 years...no. Oswald was likely a CIA asset that also happened to kill the President.

2. How anyone can look at Alex Jones and not realize that he's playing a character, that it is performance art, is beyond me. Alex Jones is simply acting. So is Tucker (people who know him confirm this). They're entertainers, nothing more.

Again, Inside the Target car pretty much shows that a Grassy Knoll shooter would have left an exit wound on the left side of his head and killed Jackie as well. That didn't happen. The shot from behind had the same blood splatter as the Zupruder film.

Oliver Stone's move is bunch of unproven conspiracy theories. I used to believe it, but not after seeing Inside the Target Car where the went to every position to see if they had a shot. The shot from the grassy knoll produced a different result. The shot from behind produced nearly identical results.

Oswald shot and killed Kennedy. That's a fact.

Also, the single bullet theory has been shown to actually be possible. Once the bullet traveled through The presidents throat, it started to tumble and left a key hole type wound in Johnson's back, hitting his wrist and ending up in his thigh. This shot was recreated and the bullet looked the same.

Fact is no evidence of conspiracy exists after 50 years.

Nah.  SS agent.  Not that Oswald didn't try.  He shot JFK, but the actual kill shot was an accident.

Guys...Milhouse solved this years ago

Ruling out the Grassy Knoll Shooter.

unfortunately, we have too many people like the ones in orson wells' adaptation of war of worlds.

@jsdarkstar You think I'm kidding but I'm not.  A SS agent accidentally firing off the kill shot doesn't necessarily equal any kind of conspiracy, except from the other SS agents in the car with him, and it certainly doesn't apply any malicious intent to anyone other than Oswald, but it does explain the forensic issues with the magic bullet theory.

The point I made that you cut out certainly is. The fact that it's never been pulled of since is strong evidence to support the argument that only the CIA could of pulled it off.

Um, Reagan?

Not yet and I don't necessarily see it coming on the horizon but things change and you can't think it can't happen under the right circumstances. There are circumstances that could lead it that way.

In theory, if republicans were somehow able to get their crap together and become a center right party again and started winning back moderates and independents in significant numbers, the influence of the far left would grow to some degree.  RFK Jr. has given some outrageous speeches centered on antivax conspiracies and has been growing his political clout and raising a lot of money with both the far left and right based around those beliefs and theories.  If you have a scenario where moderates migrate or return in large numbers to the Republican party and someone like Kennedy, whose name alone gives him inherent political clout, continues to grow his own populist movement starting with the antivax movement, you have a recipe for the left's version of a MAGA movement.

I'm not saying it's probable or likely but don't pretend the left is immune to non-sense like this if the wrong scenario were to come to fruition.

Wow. Ok. Except he wasn't shot from the front of the head. The exit wound was in the front of his head according to the Autopsy and the Photographs. The internet image of the SS agent driving the car and shooting Kennedy at the same time is a fake image.

It's not like he hasn't...had his lawyers say it in a court of law.

The Alex Jones who told his legions of "Infowars” listeners bogus stories about the U.S. government being behind the 9/11 attacks and about Hillary Clinton operating a pedophile ring out of a Washington pizza joint is really "a performance artist.”

That’s according to Jones’ own lawyer — not the mainstream media that the right-wing radio jock derides as "fake news.”

"He’s playing a character” and is nothing like his online persona, attorney Randall Wilhite reportedly insisted in a Texas courtroom at a pre-trial hearing ahead of the right wing radio jock’s custody battle with ex-wife Kelly Jones.

Not from the car he was in.  From the car behind him.

Reagan died of natural causes in 2004. Other presidents were shot or shot at (wasn't Ford shot at like 3 times?) after JFK, none were killed. That's my point.
