The 49ers don’t seem like they would be able to score enough points vs the Eagles.

49ers Dline vs Eagles OL will be quite a battle.

It’s hard to imagine a healthy Eagles oline losing to anybody, tbh.

Well, 49ers have gone all in this year, trading their too three picks in the draft to win now. If Brock can handle our pass rush, they could be a challenge.

All his throws today were to like completely open receivers.

If the Eagles D played like the Seahawks today then they deserve to lose.

Depending on who you ask Cousins is also a very good quarterback, and Jefferson is considered an elite receiver.

Jefferson is an elite receiver

The Eagles have the best pass defense in the league. And do we really think they’ll be able to run it against a wall that includes Linval Joseph, Jordan Davis, Ndamukong Suh, Fletcher Cox, etc?

I think the only way the Eagles would lose is if they randomly forget how to tackle, or they turn the ball over. And we’ve turned the ball over the fewest times in the league, so hopefully we can continue to avoid those.

1. Cowboys

2. 49ers

3. Lions

4. Vikings

Maybe the 49ers should worry us. Maybe Purdy with their defense is good enough to still be a factor.

Lions and Vikings definitely shouldn't scare us though.

He wasn’t elite when he played us. Neither was Cousins for that matter.

Both games were in Dallas. Whoever won the Week 17 game would win the division and host the other in the wild card round. We got curb stomped in both.

I think our only TD in the playoff game was Vick to Maclin for 75 yards.

It was a continuous back to back beat down. Funny thing is everyone is so worried about the Cowboys, but if they lay Tampa they’re screwed. That squad has never beat Tom Brady.

DJ also had a garbage time TD, but one correction. The winner of the week 17 game did win the division, however, if the Eagles had won, I believe they would have had the 2 seed, and wouldn’t have to play WC weekend.

I get that the Niners keep winning, but that team just doesn’t scare me at all. Their defense is definitely good, but I think the Eagles have the weapons to at least put up around 24 points on them even if they’re playing well. And I just don’t see the Niners scoring more than that against the Eagles D.

Brock Purdy has an expiration date and it might be sooner than we think.

Lions worry me more than the Vikings. They’ve been on a tear lately and that offense is tough to stop.

As bad as Tampa has been if that's the match up I consider it a toss up for that reason

They have been on a tear but I don't fear them.

Injuries and dumb luck.

This right here is pretty much the only answer.

Maybe our special teams doing something 'special' in a big game?

I think its clear the Eagles are the best team right now.

The only things that concern me are injuries and then a SB matchup vs  Mahomes or Allen who could have monster games.

I would still expect the Eagles to win a SB matchup 65 out of 100 times but they only play it once.

Injuries concerned me from day one of the season.  If ANY team can avoid them, then they can be considered a contender IMO.  I say a prayer to the FB gods to keep my Eagles safe and so far the prayers have been answered.  I respect Karma and those who don't, feel the teeth bite deep into their butts.  I respectfully ask when have you seen a near 100% healthy team do anything other than make a run at the title?

I'd fear the 49ers if Shannahan wasn't such a choke artist of a coach.

I think it’s asking a lot from him though. Trying to win with a 3rd string rookie quarterback in the playoffs is a tall task.

He'll show how to pull it off and screw it up all in the course of 60 min

OK, thought about this some more, and the biggest worry I have going forward is clinching too soon and getting rusty.

If we win the next two games, we're 14-1 and clinch everything that we can possibly clinch (I think).  That gives this team 2 meaningless games at the end of the season plus a bye week to start the playoffs.   While we've been resting starters, other teams have been scrapping it out and playing hard.  We could come into the divisional round being really rusty and playing against a team with a lot of momentum.  That scares me.
