One side: We like white male 1920s America-race privilege over education-a theocracy would be nice-just make sure we feel safe because the society says we are better than people of color and women. We believe in a just society for all-we will take actions to acknowledge past and current injustices-we are done with white male dominance and privilege-education is good-the country was founded on freedom of religion.

What Trump does doesn't matter, he is just the figurehead for one side of this and the nation's future path (backwards or forward) will largely be decided in this election.
