They ‘’win’’ so often because no one can afford to fight them. Data published by the Pew Research Center in 2019 highlighted how federal prosecutors have a 99.6% conviction rate. To put those numbers in perspective, U.S. Attorneys filed 79,704 cases in 2018. Of those, only 320 resulted in acquittals. It’s important to remember, however, that many cases end in plea deals — which count as a "win” for the prosecution. Pew Research Center’s data shows that defendants facing federal criminal charges only took their cases to trial at the following rates in 2018: Immigration offenses: 1% Drug offenses: 2% Property offenses: 4% Violent crimes: 7% Federal prosecutors have unlimited funds available to investigate crimes. This is one reason many legal analysts suspect that the conviction rate at the federal level is so high. It may also be why there’s been a 60% decline in the number of cases proceeding to trial during the past two decades. Pew Research Center’s data also shows that defendants who pursue a trial experience different outcomes based on whether they choose a bench or jury trial. The acquittal rate in bench trials is 38%, whereas it’s 14% for juried trials.

Couldn't possibly be that feds pursue the guilty with the amount of flex the right only wishes it could extend to every law enforcement office in the nation. But of course you'd single out when it's Trumplicans on the receiving end of justice. Odd, that.

January 16, 20223 yr Really? That's your take? Feds don't bring charges unless they're damn sure they can convict. This means a lot of defendants are going to accept a plea deal. Tossing them out doesn't make for an honest assessment. There's a small percentage of indictments where the defendant decides they might have a better shot at trial - and surprise! The percentage of acquittals is higher. It's cherry picking the defendants that have the best case and trying to act like this is what it would look like if they all went to trial. The oath keepers are cooked. No way the feds are going to charge when with sedition with a weak case. They're traitors. Give it up.

January 16, 20223 yr Supporters of the party of Alvin Bragg, and Chessa Boudin, and Larry Krassner, and Kim Foxx, and Marilyn Mosby, and George Gascon talking about law and order is awesome. You all don’t support law and order, you support bullying and political abuse of power.

Unless it's about the eagles. You stated the only reason the feds have a high win rate is because they have the funds to outlast opponents. That's not a defense for seditionists. But you're trying to use it as one. Congrats for defending traitors I guess?
