Also, people on the left are probably suffering less because they drive more efficient vehicles and tend to have less children because they actually consider the financial impact of having a child. People on the left also understand that gas prices are generally only going to get more expensive for an inelastic commodity as we have to use more remote sources of dirtier crude that requires more intensive extraction and refinement (i.e., more expensive to produce), and they actually support alternative energy as a way to break our dependency on gasoline and the prices that come with it. More or less, most people on the left have the attitude of "it is what it is." The left also has a greater sense of self-sacrifice and is willing to pay more at the pump to stick it to Russia. What response would I expect from "the left"? Sorry to tell you, but there are smart people and dumb people on both sides of the aisle. Once again you make ridiculous statements.

Here, I'll break it down on a 3rd grade level, since that seems to be your speed: Demand is dramatically up and supply has been disrupted by a pandemic and, even more acutely, by an international crisis. This equals higher prices. Despite being high, they have only just now surpassed how high they were 14 years ago. That's a pretty good run, and in that time, we have massively increased domestic production, starting under a Democratic administration. Biden has been more actively supplying new drilling permits than Trump was. Gas is a naturally expensive commodity, and it always will be. Over time, it is only going to get more prohibitively expensive. As a result, we should seek alternative energy sources. The rest of the world has figured this out, but we haven't, because we're stupid. If you're complaining about gas prices while driving pickup trucks and SUVs, you're a moron. Nevertheless, it is also much cheaper in this country than every other developed nation. It is what it is and what it always will be. Deal with it.

It affects everyone and the right aren't the only ones complaining about it. The left isn't made of richer, smarter, better looking people, that don't have more than 1.5 kids and all drive battery operated cars. Plenty of poverty on the "left side".

If people on the left were complaining about it like you claim, at least in the sense of it being Biden's fault, I would think I'd have seen at least one or two of them, since pretty much the vast, vast majority of my friends and family members are liberals. The only people I hear making these accusations are, to a man, coming from the right wing.

The best part of this whole exchange is that the CVON ref is almost always the guy who hides behind "It's just a meme, guys" whenever someone points out the stupidity of one of his memes and yet here he was the first one to start crying over your meme this morning.

You could literally apply your "stop generalizing the political spectrum" point about every meme in this thread.

Yup, in fact, I used to come in here and challenge the validity of some very ridiculous memes, and that's exactly what was said to me whenever I debunked something. So, I stopped doing it and just went to posting pics. Now, look what's happening

March 8, 20223 yr The funny part- wanting to be an energy independent Nation should not be a partisan issue. Much like battling inflation overall. Should not be partisan. And yet- here we are 🤷♂️
