You are in a minority in that group. My Portfolio is down almost 20% since Jan 2020- and the money we all have is now worth a great deal less, since inflation is so high. So technically even though I am seeing a 5% increase, I am down 20% of my portfolio and down 3%-ish in income versus inflation. So actually down quite a bit. We have food shortages, stocks crashing, fuel prices higher than WIllie Nelson And Snoop dog, more voilence, more crime, Russia invaded Ukraine, the Afghanistan pullout, Biden trying to use OSHA to mandate vaccinnes, rambling incoherent President... etc.... What we dont have is mean tweets and false narratives about Russian collusion. Sorry very few see things as being better than the previous admin. It's called a correction. And if you lost money in 2021 you're REALLY terrible at investing. The S&P went from like 3800 to 4700 from Jan 20 2021 to Dec 31 2021. Which is unsustainable. The policies under Trump was maximize everything in the short term at the expense of the long term. None of the policies he had in place gave ANY consideration to costs beyond his term in office. Which is why he was the worst president of our lifetimes. And Biden is STILL far better. Even if you aren't able to understand that, you're lucky enough of your countrymen are saving you from yourself.
