Basically they have reps come out to your home/business/whatever, take your measurements, and bring samples so you can see the fabric, lining options, etc. Then you order whatever you want as far as suits, formal wear, shirts, etc and they custom make it all for you. 

This was like 10-15 years ago. A friend set it up as part of his groomsman gift, but I could probably still find out the name of them. I’d say the quality was solid to good, though not on the level of high end designers, but the value was great given the price, they come to you and everything is custom made.

Anyway, my buddy who set this thing up found out about them through a bunch of celebs who had used them (he’s in TV production). So he started joking around with the tailor about how we couldn’t trust him with the measurements because of Trump. Mind you, this was well before Trump’s political career, so there wasn’t much in the way of general animosity towards him, and I guess my friend just knew about Trump’s suit fits from work.

As it turns out the tailor we were using had been the one to personally take Trump’s measurements and he went into a whole spiel about how Trump was insistent on using some of his own numbers and wanting his own type of fit against the advice of the tailor.

Yeah, but it seemed more complicated than that the way the guy was describing it, like he would have the inseam, sleeve length, etc adjusted as well.
