My youngest graduated a decade ago, and it astounded me at the idiot parents who showed up to complain that the schools were not raising their kids and teaching them how to behave. My opinion was unpopular with many of them, that it is the PARENTS' job to raise the kids and teach them to behave. Even back then, the anti-science streak was strong with a lot of parents. Heart-breakingly sad.
