I don't think the defense was great but it wasn't a problem today. I'd argue it was pretty good. Offense seems to have lost their stride. Maybe that's just what they are - a streaky offense. Penalties hurt them a lot today. I feel like early on at least Hurts was consistently making the wrong call on the RPOs. He kept handing it off to Sanders who ran into a pile of bodies When he threw the ball though Hurts was really on target. Gotta cleanup the mistakes. The turnovers and penalties made this a struggle.

That last part is it. Self inflicted wounds. I hate using injuries as an excuse, but damn, the back up TE's had like 2 or 3 huge penalties early on. Hurts looks great throwing the ball as of late, and usually makes the quick, correct call on the option plays but yeah, he was bad at that today too. Anyway, I'll take the W.
