Sadly there are idiots on both sides unhappy with reality of history, or literature, and demand we change both to make it more palatable, in their idiotic opinions.

Horseshoe theory has its place, though it's reductionist.. I just see mostly groups like "Moms for Liberty" attacking history from the right lately.

May 17, 20232 yr It's like none of you read the Mueller report. Only Bill Barr's stunningly inaccurate summary. Russia absolutely was doing everything possible to get Trump elected. A member of his campaign even gave insider polling to a Russian contact. The only thing Mueller said couldn't be done was to establish that there was a conspiracy to coordinate with Russia. And he specifically said one of the reasons for that was lack of access to key witnesses. There was no exoneration. If you still believe that you're the one being duped.

Oh so Russia tried, which we all know they do in literally every single American election, and there was no proof that Trumps team participated in the conspiracy? So basically everything you people screamed about for 7 years now was a lie, which we told you over and over again.

Correct… you finally got it!!!
May 18, 20232 yr This is a political pics thread so I'll keep this brief. Well, probably not. Mueller’s investigation produced some three dozen indictments, seven guilty pleas, and one conviction at trial. Among those sent to prison was Trump’s own campaign chair, Paul Manafort. Mueller also documented the main elements of an obstruction of justice case against Trump—though Mueller heeded the internal Department of Justice rule against prosecuting a serving president. Durham produced one indictment over someone who "altered an email". Mueller's report has over 100 pages outlining "RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT LINKS TO AND CONTACTS WITH THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN". There were enough contacts between members of the Trump campaign and Russia to produce numerous convictions and guilty pleas, but because half of the potential witnesses are Russian nationals no "conspiracy" could be established. And since Trump doesn't actually write anything down, there was no track record of his involvement - but if his campaign was that tied in with Russian government officials and he didn't know about it he's either even more incompetent than believed or his lizard brain kept him a step removed from these behaviors - like a Mafia Don.

This must be from the same fantasy world where Covid came from a wet market bat. You were wrong. Just learn and move on.
