I don't know if the Super Bowl broke the seal of painstakingly waiting for something good to happen, but while I am on the boards several times a week and still cater my Fall schedule around Eagles games... I can hardly recall reading anything in TATE, ESPN, or other areas about the team in the past several years now. Half the time I forget until late August who is even on the team with signings and departures since Free Agency and the Draft is usually like 6 months prior and after each event happens I rarely read or think about anything again. I have a friend I went to DeSean's first regular season game with (also the day Tom Brady tore his ACL) as it was the opener and we were hyped to go. He just moved to Atlanta and bought a house about a month ago, and the season opener is there this year and I would 100% pay money for flights and tickets if he wanted to go... but it would be more driven by me wanting to hang out with him for the first time in a few years and meet his son for the first time than me caring about seeing a game in person vs at home.
August 10, 20214 yr Not that it will matter but I think our defense finishes ranked somewhere between 8-12th

August 11, 20214 yr SheldonBrown had one of his massive hits on Steven Jackson, but that dude popped right up. Smart phones barely existed at that time and cell service was atrocious in the stadium. The "game of telephone” has us all thinking Drew Brees broke his leg. Didn’t find out it was Brady and ACL until later that night
August 11, 20214 yr I had just moved to Sacramento and couldn’t find a bar at first showing the game so I missed that opening drive did Brady get a concussion then the season before
