Why was Hargrave in on the tackle heading back toward the line scrimmage 7 yards downfield on that 3rd down stop?

Dude hurts is garbage.  He can't throw at all.

May be, but I’ve seen some positives. I haven’t been a fan of his from before the draft. He’s had some bright spots but seems to be routinely late on throws down the field and under throws the receiver a lot. That said, there have been a few twinkles of positives as well and I’m not sure Peyton Manning could produce with this offensive play calling.

Maybe....they wouldn't be calling these garbage plays with a real quarterback

Arians is dumb. Just punt the football and make the Eagles go the length of the field twice.

Anyone else notice that the announcers are being super unbiased towards us? Joe Buck has been almost tolerable in that regard.

Glad I'm not the only one starting Hurts in fantasy.

Missed field goal sealed it - now game is basically over

Missed fg??  Lol. This game was sealed when the first play from the offense was a read option keep for a loss of yards.

Also should have gone for it instead of the fg. 2 TD's with 12 mins left...and they kick a fg.

He never shook Foles hand but Brady was classy with the Eagles D at handshake time

Of course. He was thanking them for all of the wide open throws.

He only shows sportsmanship when he wins

seth on the postgame last night saying the eagles are basically running a high school offense.  and the national media is picking up on siriani's lack of any sort of plan on offense.

Psst...Sirianni has a high school QB.  In fact I'd wager that a current HS QB would have more success than the one on our roster.

I'm finding it hard to judge NS when his QB literally drops back looks at one read, scrambles from a clean pocket into trouble, can't throw with anticipation and timing, under/over throws every deep route, etc...Every week we see somebody wide open and Hurts is too busy forcing the ball to his first read or scrambling from a clean pocket to right and throwing the ball away when he hits the sideline.  I think NS is trying to cater to Hurts instead of doing what he wants to run on offense.

I wanted Hurts to be the guy because it's what was best for the Eagles and he seems like a good dude and leader.  He's just not functional QB in the NFL.  All you have to do is sit on the WR screens, force him off his 1st read and spy him/contain him (like the eagles used to do to Vick) and you've stopped him. Can't have a QB who can't function in the pocket as your QB.

I was simply pointing out that the math would have allowed us a chance to still be in it had they forced TB to kick a field goal.  You run out of weed last night?

I have to agree with some reports stating the game would have likely been ours if that damn security guard had completed his route and just turned to see the pass from hurts to him.

Wanna help your struggling QB?  Run the ball more. We have the backs and line to do it.  Then, when you throw the ball, have your receivers run routes that don’t do exactly what the zone D wants them to do.  Problem is, Sirianni is lost.  Jeffrey rolled the dice, hoping he found the next coaching wonderkind, but lost.

The play that sums up Hurts IQ as a QB was where he slid for a 1 yard loss near the sideline instead of just throw it away.

The issue is that every run that's called has a pass option and Hurts decides to hold onto it instead of handing it off. When he throws that incompletion on first and second down it's generally a third and long. It's a giant cluster F

Also who thought it would be a genius idea to play a soft zone against Brady? He's more than happy to check down to his RB and TE's which is what he did for a large chunk of his last 5 years in NE.

Later dude.  Great Eagle career but it was time.

I'm good with moving on from Ertz. Thanks for the game-winning catch in the SB.

the goedert pick never made sense to me...why draft a te when you have a pro bowl te on the roster & a sheetload of other needs?  but they had just won a f'n super bowl so nobody really gave a sheet.

anyway, i wish ertz the best. the cards are stacked this year.
