I don’t know if Hurts is the long-term answer at QB, but I like some of the things he does.  I’m not necessarily sold either way, which actually kind of sucks.  I mean, I wish I could say either he’s the guy or he’s not the guy with some conviction.  Lol.

Biggest thing that pisses me off with hurts is that he never throws people open on deep balls. He waits till they're open to throw the ball and gives defenders time to catch up

So you're talking trading back in the first?

Yeah, the Colts 1st rounder is locked in. Right now is 11, 12, and 21. If they get an offer for a 2023 1st rounder.

We know this draft class of QBs aren't better than another year of development in Hurts. Stockpile another pick and try for a QB in 2023 with better QBs coming out or Hurts is the answer.

They're going to package these picks up for a Wilson/Watson QB which is problematic.

I can see them having an elite offense with either of those guys under center, but the defensive side of the ball is a mess. Their better players are older and on the decline and it makes them harder to replace.

In the next 2 years they're going to have to replace Cox, Graham, Slay and both safety positions. You also want to upgrade Nelson (likely a 1 year rental anyway), both LB'er positions and Hargrave may also be out of contract after the restructure so that's 3 starters on the defensive line. Meanwhile the young guys on the defensive side of the ball haven't shown much so you don't already have these guys on the roster

Please Santa, I don't ask for much,
Please let the Eagles build around the power run and get the D where it needs to be with picks.

No they aren't because neither QB wants to come here

The last thing this team needs to do is trade a bounty of picks for a guy that's been in the league for a decade (Wilson) or a guy that has a pretty uncertain legal future (Watson). If they're free agents that's different, but we shouldn't be giving up assets for them.

My concern is that Howie won't be able to control himself.

I really hope that we don't have to beat Dallass to make the Playoffs.  That Giants loss really hurt.  Hopefully their seed is set at that point, and they rest everybody but the practice squad.  But then, of course, there's this

Eagles coach Sirianni tests positive for COVID

Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni tested positive for COVID-19 and has entered the NFL's protocols for the virus.

The WTF probably infected half our team last night.

Eagles have placed DE Ryan Kerrigan on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. They elevated DE Cameron Malveaux from the practice squad to the active roster as a COVID-19 replacement.

Gonna be hard to win without Kerrigan's steady presence.

Going to say this because it's stuck in my head but picking up Kerrigan this season was like putting an old brick on layaway.

Except the old brick might be useful at some point.

That’s right, keep throwing it. That’s what got us here.

Garbage. Completely unprepared.

Holy F, what a terrible first quarter.

"Back to receive, Jalen Reagor"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

Just play Minshew

That's a f'ing touchdown

When Lane Johnson is a better receiver than Jalen Reagor.

I think they are playing better in the second half
