I was just telling schmoopie that ever since that hit he lost his mind

Real talk:  Dude who is my closest fell off a ladder a year or two back.  Out cold, had to go to the hospital.  It was a severe concussion and he remembers none of it.

Ever since then his personality has changed and is a much, much different person.

I’ve never fully recovered from the concussion I suffered during my accident 3.5 years ago. It absolutely changed the way I look at football, too.

Can some one explain to me why the niners need to win for us to clinch today?  I thought I understood it but I don't

Yay

They were talking about that on WIP and that confused me too.  If we win and the Vikings lose, that should be it right?

I think it's because the Niners winning would mean they lock up a spot? And in doing so they help us lock up a slot? I don't know. Could be to do with tie breakers.

They don’t.

  • The Eagles' 20-16 victory over Washington means they have a chance to clinch a playoff spot before the day is done. They need either the Vikings to lose to the Packers and the Saints to lose to the Carolina Panthers, or the Vikings to lose in combination with the 49ers losing to the Houston Texans.

But why do we need the saints to lose?  We own the head to head. Or is it because it’s some weird crap where you have a 3 team tie and need to go to strength of schedule?

You know what. I think I answered my question

I didn't realize that if the saints also lose we don't need a niners win. That's what had me confused

So glad they expanded the playoffs.  The math is so much easier.

I can’t believe that we couldn’t count on the Texans and Panthers.

The fact their fake tough guy crybaby coach went from "One Strike Policy" to "Oh, well that was different, he's like a totally new man now" after the dude faked COVID vaccine cards and needed him because all of his other starting WRs died to basically "He's not on the team anymore, I don't want to talk about him" was my personal favorite Buc's related s*** of the last few weeks.

Arians' tough guy shtick is beyond lame. It's even more pathetic when you look back at all the complaining about officiating he did back in his Arizona days. "We're gonna send a few plays into the league office this week." Cry more.

Honestly, who doesn't want to see a game featuring stars like Dallas' Cedrick Wilson or our JJ?  You like Tony Pollard?  Well you're gonna see a little of him because its Corey Clement time!!!!

According to ESPN, we clinched. Is that right?

  • The Packers' victory allowed the Eagles to clinch a playoff spot, capping a run in which Philadelphia has won six of seven games. Who had Nick Sirianni as the first rookie coach this season to lock in a trip to the playoffs?
