October 28, 20223 yr Is anyone going to the Steelers game? Anything I should know in particular heading to the Linc? Also how does tailgating work exactly? Other than avoid the guy trying to stab people with a spork

I thought it was a mutual agreement between the two teams and the bears did a restructure to take on additional salary and add the void years to guarantee Quinn gets to be a FA.

Quinn originally signed a five-year deal with the Chicago Bears back in 2020. As such, he was set to be under contract through 2024. Now he will instead be a free agent after the 2022 season. Quinn was previously set to earn base salaries of $13.9 million in 2023 and $12.9 million in 2024. None of that money was guaranteed, however. The Eagles were never likely to bring him back on those terms. If anything, they would probably agree to a restructured deal. It’s possible that Quinn might only prove to be a short-term rental for the Birds. If that’s the case, Philly will have only paid him a little more than $700,000 total since the Bears reportedly picked up $7.1 million of his remaining 2022 salary. Of course, it’s also possible that the trade aftermath works well for both Quinn and the Eagles and they mutually decide to re-up after this season. Though the current focus is making a Super Bowl run, we can also acknowledge that Howie Roseman has some interesting decisions to make following this season. The following players are currently set to be unrestricted free agents entering the 2023 league year: Robert Quinn Fletcher Cox Javon Hargrave James Bradberry Isaac Seumalo Andre Dillard Kyzir White T.J. Edwards Boston Scott Zach Pascal Miles Sanders Brett Toth Chauncey Gardner-Johnson Gardner Minshew Marcus Epps Sua Opeta (RFA) Tyree Jackson (ERFA) Britain Covey (ERFA) The Eagles are also currently projected to have about just $2.6 million in cap space next year. They’ll obviously be able to free up room with trades/restructures/cuts/etc. But they won’t be able to simply keep everyone. They figure to players in the compensatory pick game once again.
October 28, 20222 yr Yeah but... And if you look at the contract, its obvious that the bears did a restructure to take on additional salary as part of the trade agreement. It's likely (nearly certain) that is when the void clause got added. Either way, don't care. We got a DE who is literally not impacting this years cap to make a run this year AND we arn't going to tack on 11 void years to fit him in next year.

October 30, 20222 yr That washing machine segment had to be the dumbest thing ever on an NFL Pregame show. And that’s saying something.
October 30, 20222 yr Need to stop with the dumb ass penalties Also seeing Steelers fans wave around a tiny towel for the first time in person. It looks so sad
October 30, 20222 yr Still have a perfect record at Eagles games. Have also seen the back up QB play twice
October 30, 20222 yr I managed to get the Sanders TD on video. Unfortunately someone's giant head gets in the way just as he scores. I'll see if I can upload it
October 30, 20222 yr Would have been nice if bears won but that wasn’t happening. Great that Seahawks beat giants, now we have 2 game lead there I can’t believe raiders sheet the bed that bad against saints. Have to keep cheering for falcons to win so saints don’t fall into winning that division and screwing the pick up Washington win isn’t bad. Keeps them from getting too high of a pick
