i was at my aunt's 90th birthday party during the game. there were two giants fans (in-laws) there that seemed to lose interest in watching the game after the 1st half.

I'm not sure that's huge news? Knee sprain still doesn't sound great so he's going to miss some time.

Looked like he was grabbing the outside of his knee, which would be the LCL I believe.  Not one you hear as much about

Good news

Hopefully Siposs' injury isn't too severe, because that was a hell of a play he made on the blocked punt.

I saw that. I figured that's who he was yelling at

I was today years old when I learned that the 2nd round pick we got from Green Bay for Al Harris (and a fourth) was used to trade up in the first round to take Jerome McDougle

No.

Week 17 get a big lead THEN rest the starters.  Need to protect Howie's investment.

Start everyone as normal and call this for the first play:

Then bring in the PS and a few drunk dudes from the stands.

Magic numbers:

To eliminate MIN from #1 seed: any combination of Eagles wins and Vikings losses adding up to 2

To eliminate SF from #1 seed: any combination of Eagles wins and 49ers losses adding up to 2

To eliminate DAL from #1 seed: any combination of Eagles wins and Pukes losses adding up to 3

Wait.  No.  We beat Dallas and they are a wildcard team.  That's the only win we need to lock up the division.  Or is that too deep down the rabbit hole for this exercise?

That is technically true. I was thinking in terms of clean, no tie-breakers needed. Beat the Bears this week and them next week and they can't even have the same W-L record.
