February 13, 20232 yr Yeah whoever prepared that field should be embarrassed - biggest sporting event of the year and that's the best you can do?
February 13, 20232 yr Apparently the Chiefs complained about it week one as well so it's been a problem all year and the paint made it even worse
February 13, 20232 yr On the broadcast they mentioned the type of grass - some new hybrid or something.
February 13, 20232 yr Some perspective, I watched the game last night with a 49ers fan a bengals fan and a raiders fan. I really couldn’t complain too much. I’d be much more upset if eagles hadn’t won the last one we knew special teams would come back to hurt us at some point. We knew deep down even with all those sacks this defense had issues. I hope Kelce comes back. Offense was great last night other than terrible Hurts turnover. Defense needs to make some big changes
February 13, 20232 yr That grass was a huge problem. Screwed up his last throw. Screwed up pass rush. Both teams had to deal but it hurt us more

February 13, 20232 yr Well someone mentioned too - the stuff sits outside all day then they wheel it in, they leave the roof open, it cools off = moisture.

February 13, 20232 yr Despite how badly Gannon and the defense got spanked, the grass, Watkins and Sanders and our ST coverage playing like trash, we were still in a position to win the game at the end. I can't say the outcome would have been any different, win/lose/overtime or whatever. But to have that stupid Fing holding penalty called in that moment... We should have had the ball with 1:20 or so on the clock and one timeout.
February 13, 20232 yr Well, I guess we can no longer act like we have the moral high ground in regards to all the San Fran players whining and excuse making about losing. Bradberry: Quote "I was hoping he would let it go, but of course he's a ref, it was a big game," Bradberry said after the Eagles' 38-35 loss. "It was a hold, so they called it." Jason Kelce: Quote "He's an awesome teammate, he's a great player, and I think that's how you want your teammates and your guys to react," center Jason Kelce said. "We all had our mistakes today. I had mine. It was just unfortunately a few too many."
February 13, 20232 yr Well our players own up to their mistakes and blame themselves. The 49ers players are a bunch of whiney _______ (insert your choice insult)

He friended me and a bunch of other people today to troll about the Eagles losing. Honestly didn't really know him then or that he is a 49ers fan. Anyway, apparently this was him last night. Notice that he is not wearing a 9ers jersey Spoiler
February 13, 20232 yr Fun! My dandy 49ers friend last night was the one to notice Hurts had changed shoes before it was mentioned in the broadcast

February 13, 20232 yr The penalty was a penalty but it had not been called all game, players adjust to the way refs are calling the game, they let them play all game, you do not make that call there
