The problem is you younger guys are spoiled. Eagles are expected to win the division and expected to win in the playoffs every year. I remember years and years of not making the playoffs. Then fell flat on their face and limed to a 9-7 season. It's not the end record. Its how they finished going into the playoffs.

Followed up the SB XV loss with a 6-0 start, then stumbled to a 10-6 finish and lost to the Giants at home in the playoffs.
January 4, 20241 yr I've heard it suggested that Sirianni is treating the regular season like the preseason and we're only running a fraction of the playbook, saving the rest for the playoffs when we'll take the training wheels off and start blowing teams away. To me that sounds insane, risking seeding and the bye just for some gamesmanship. Then I think about how deeply in love with himself Sirianni is and him thinking himself clever enough to pull something like that off doesn't sound so crazy. I guess we'll see in a week and a half.

There are no cheat days like in the NBA where half the team get in anyway and the playoffs are a series. You need every game not only to make the playoffs but also claw out the best seed possible to secure as many home games as you can. Unless your QB is Brock HOF Purdy

January 5, 20241 yr There is no turn it on when you want too in the nfl, the offense played good enough against the cards but the D is gonna be the end this year, but back at the O, they should be putting up at least 28 pts a game with that talent and that’s an indictment against the offensive coaching and head coach
