He has regressed badly

If he didn't hit a walk-off 61 yard field goal, he'd have been shown the door long ago. That moment was incredible to experience (thanks for the late 4th quarter FG in the Super Bowl, too), but he's been bad for a while now.

He’s always been far more dangerous when he’s running, as well as passing. Part of Doug’s problem is that he’s always saving people, trying to keep them healthy, for later in the season. Playing scared is a sure way to lose.
