Charges will be unsealed at the end of the arraignment. Once that happens they become public. I'd say it should start circulating on the news in about 2 hrs or so. Also Bragg is having a presser at 3:00-3:30 ish. He will probably go through the charges.

Were charges ever actually filed?

Because there wasn't enough evidence. Do you really think Trump, the guy who tried to stay in office after he was booted out, the guy tried to burn it all down, didn't prosecute her "for the good of the country" ?

Trump pleads not guilty to 34 Counts.

Well, for starters, it's 100% false.

Biden isn't involved at all in the chain of hierarchy. This indictment is from the New York County of New York attorney general. It's state and local charges, not federal.

I guess that's about it, Mr. Lawyer, because that makes the meme 100% false.

But to continue with more reasons why you're stupid .. the Georgia investigation is also a state investigation. From a Republican run state with a Republican Governor and Secretary of state, who were requested to "find votes" for Trump.

So let's go to the federal case. In this case we have a federal attorney general who was appointed by Biden but who does not take orders from Biden, because unlike his predecessor Garland does not take marching orders from the President. And the federal case is being run by an independent special prosecutor specifically to insulate the investigation from political tampering.

In your world I guess Republicans are not allowed to be investigated and indicted for wrongdoing when a Democrat is in office.

At this rate even Trump University is going to ask for their diploma back, because you're embarrassing them.

Nuh uh. Even though Biden is a senile old coot who can't complete a sentence, you also have to remember that he's also at the same time a criminal mastermind and a genius at subverting the law. He was able to rig an entire election (by himself). He controls the country at every level. They all do his bidding!

Serious question... can he sue her for not keeping her yap shut after paying her to do so?

In the U.S., anybody can sue anybody else at anytime for anything whatsoever.  Doesn't mean you'll be successful, but you can sue.  Doubt a judgment against her would be worth anything though.

He sued her for defamation already.

I know.

I'm more asking (and I know I F around on here a lot, but I'm genuinely curious about this)...

"I paid you X money not to tell anyone I banged you, but you did anyway"

Does that kind of agreement have legal teeth?

Fact Check: Did Donald Trump Sue Stormy Daniels and Win?

BY TOM NORTON ON 3/21/23 AT 8:00 AM EDT

The claim, however, that Trump instigated legal action amid this scandal is false. While there is a crumb of truth behind this tweet, it's not clearly presented. Newsweek could find no record of Trump or his legal representatives filing a lawsuit against Daniels.

However, Daniels was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees after a federal appeals court rejected her bid to overturn a lower court's decision to dismiss a defamation lawsuit she had filed against him.

She had initially been ordered to pay Trump's attorney fees of $293,000 by Judge S. James Otero of the U.S. District Court for Central California back in December 2018. That order stands after losing her appeals. Trump had sought $389,000 in his request.

Turns out her lawyer, Avenatti failed to file the appeal before the deadline. Legal Malpractice. It went down hill for him, from there.

The more I hear about the evidence in this case against Defendant, Trump,  the more I like it. Let's not forget that Trump Org was found guilty on all 17 counts of Fraud. it's not a surprise they would use more financial crimes against him. I believe the Prosecutor has the goods, texts, e-mails, documents, and the witnesses, to get a conviction. This case is not overly complex.

I don't see Defendant Trump contesting the fraud. With what evidence? Is he going to dispute that a Shell Company was set up for his benefit, and dispute that they made the payments to three people, The doorman, Stormy, and Karen. In Karen's case David Pecker was used in a conspiracy to capture and kill her story. How is he going to defend against that? Trump is on record saying essentially, can't we wait to pay after the election and then maybe we don't have to pay at all. Showing his intent to pay for election purposes. If the evidence wasn't strong, I don't believe the Prosecutor would have brought this case.

No one can make Trump shut his mouth. I fully expect at Trial, that Trump will lash out during witness testimony. Wrong, Lies, I never said that, etc.
