He said it would be a mistake if teams play him off the ball too much. He showed a clip of him doing an adequate job defending a TE, but he, like a lot of people, compared him to Reddick.
April 30, 20232 yr Joseph Ngata, WR, Clemson: Ngata has a big frame at 6-3, 217 pounds but had underwhelming production at Clemson. His best season came in 2022 when he had 41 catches for 526 yards and 2 touchdowns. (Tom Pelissero, NFL Network) Ty Zentner, P/K, Kansas State: The Eagles might need an upgrade from Arryn Siposs and at least Zentner would give him some competition. Zentner was a Ray Guy Award semifinalist in 2022 and averaged 44.5 yards per punt, putting 27 inside the 20. (Josh Tolentino, The Philadelphia Inquirer) Trevor Reid, OL, Louisville: Reid (6-4, 311 pounds) started two seasons at left tackle at Louisville. He’s a really athletic prospect with upside but is considered to be quite raw after getting a late start in football. (NFL DraftDiamonds) Mekhi Garner, CB, LSU: Garner (6-2, 212) is a big, physical corner who started one year at LSU after transferring from Louisiana. He had 43 tackles and 8 pass breakups last season. (Jordan Schultz, TheScore) Eli Ricks, CB, Alabama: The Eagles got a good UDFA corner from Alabama last year in Josh Jobe and they’re trying again. Ricks began his career at LSU and played just one season at Bama. The 6-2, 188-pound corner had four interceptions as a freshman in 2020. (Matt Zenitz, On3Sports) Jadon Haselwood, WR, Arkansas: The 6-2, 215-pound wideout will be reunited with Jalen Hurts in Philly. Haselwood played at Oklahoma for three seasons before finishing off his college career at Arkansas. With Hurts in 2019, Haselwood had 19 catches for 272 yards and a touchdown. (Matt Zenitz, On3Sports) Ben VanSumeren, LB, Michigan State: VanSumeren began his college career at Michigan as an offensive player but flipped to defense and eventually became a starter for the Spartans. In 2022, he had 81 tackles and 3 TFLs. He’s extremely athletic and has crazy testing numbers. April 30, 20232 yr Eli Ricks Philadelphia is signing Alabama CB Eli Ricks as a UDFA ZERO TDs allowed in coverage last season (233 coverage snaps)

April 30, 20232 yr Also interesting, that Howie drafted one 6-2 CB and just signed two more 6-2 Corners. I'm liking the height of these players. Let's Go!!!
April 30, 20232 yr How did Ricks go undrafted? Last year McShay had him as a top ten pick and he didn't give up a TD in coverage this season? https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/alabama-football/former-alabama-lsu-cb-eli-ricks-signing-with-nfl-team-after-going-undrafted/

Our secondary is going to be deep with talent. No other GM saw his talent except Howie. I really like the WR he picked up too.
April 30, 20232 yr Like that they got some more big bodied WRs. Our guys are a bit on the small side with the exception of Brown. Hope one pans out.

May 1, 20232 yr LB and RS are a bit on the thin side. Need more UDFAs there to fill the pipeline and hopefully find someone for the roster. Smith is listed as LB, but he is more a DE/rusher, Keep him on what he does best.
