June 21, 20232 yr Worth noting that last week about 500 men, women and children died, when an old fishing boat laden with refugees sank off Greece, there's pretty solid evidence that the Greek authorities knew it was in trouble but didn't lift a finger until it was too late. Yet here we are a week later and 5 rich guys, are stuck in one of only 5 vehicles that can reach the depth they're at and they've got the coast guards of 2 countries, the navy of a third plus the private sector trying a rescue that pretty much everyone involved knows requires a miracle. Funny old world.
