Took a random day to myself today. Got high at about 1ish, sat in the pool and drank rum, listening to OG Iron Maiden.

You guys ever just take a random day to chill, with no planning or anything?

What does work have to do with it?

well, most people wouldn't consider it taking a day off just because you didn't load the dishwasher.

I remember telling someone on the phone at work one time that if I were a politician, I would advocate for a "national snow day" where everyone just stays home and does nothing.  This was January or February 2020.  I guess I got what I wanted, about 50 times over, later that spring.

Pretty much impossible. There's always something I need to do with the kids or around the house if I'm not working. I get chunks here and there of a few hours. Drinking beer and either watching sports, a movie, or playing a video game.

A day, without thought, can be very beneficial IMO. It doesn't have to be a regular thing or often.

Even 5 minutes a day without thought can be beneficial.

Yes twice a week on my regular days off lol. I do all my chores and errands on the days I work and get it all out of the way so I don't have to do a F'n thing on my days off
