Adding to the mystery is that Jim Hoft reported earlier Tuesday that Campbell had taken swimming lessons as recently as 2019. This seemingly contradicts initial assumptions that he may have drowned due to an inability to swim. Here are a few photos:
The_Omega
It's possible he slipped and fell and hit his head on the paddleboard. It was barely a week ago that a professional surfer fell off their board, severed their ephemeral artery on the surfboard fin, and died. Freak accidents do happen.

JohnSnowsHair
If you get your news from gateway pundit, your attachment to reality is compromised. The guy was paddle boarding with a buddy. His buddy saw him lose balance on the board, fall, and go under. He failed to emerge from the water. The Obama's weren't home at the time. They were in Martha's Vineyard, and never claimed they weren't. But they were not at the residence, and never claimed otherwise. Why would their personal chef be there without him? That's a made up detail to try and add some sinister angle. There was no external trauma. Any claims to the contrary are further attempts to speak falsehoods into existence. Keep being a useful idiot. 3
Tnt4philly
Quote https://www.mspnews.org/post/joint-agency-search-underway-for-missing-paddle-boarder-on-edgartown-great-pond Quote At 7:46 PM, Martha's Vineyard police and fire agencies responded to Great Pond in the vicinity of Turkeyland Cove for a call for a male paddle boarder who had gone into the water, appeared to briefly struggle to stay on the surface, and then submerged and did not resurface. Quote The paddle boarder is a 43-year-old male. Another paddle boarder was on the pond with him at the time and observed him go under the bridge water. But yeah, let’s go with Ariel. 😂😂😂😂😂 https://www.mspnews.org/post/update-3-joint-search-operation-underway-for-missing-paddle-boarder-on-edgartown-great-pond?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=blog.post-promoter&utm_campaign=74f3a1c0-b286-4c3f-9859-7aa53f5e018f Quote President and Mrs. Obama were not present at the residence at the time of the accident. But the gateway pundit and his moron followers want you to think that your residence and your town are the same. 😂😂😂😂

xzmattzx
I give swimming lessons to adults, and just because you're working with someone and go over skills doesn't mean they are proficient and that their skills can override any traumatic incident. Those two pictures show very little, really. In fact, he's wearing fins, to give him assistance with his kick because his basic kicking skills must've been absolutely terrible. and then he hasn't had swimming lessons in 4 years, apparently, and was bad enough to need lessons. Swimming in a pool where you can see the bottom, with an instructor right nearby, is different than falling into a pond and freaking out. Omega is right, you can hit your head and knock yourself out. It doesn't sound like it happened. That's why you wear a lifejacket when you waterski, as well. I think it's a freak accident that could've been prevented with basic safety measures. I don't think he was killed off.

A few years ago a professor of mine died in his pool. Slipped, hit his head on the concrete and got knocked unconscious and fell into the pool. By the time his family found him he had already been under for several minutes, and he wasn't able to be revived. Very tragic.

PoconoDon
If you lie down with Hillarys, you wake up with bodies floating in water. Seriously though, given the circumstances, just do a thorough investigation and report the findings. It's far more likely that the Obamas had nothing to do with this death than they did. Dude probably fell in, definitely panicked, sucked in some water, and now dead. Isn't that hard to decipher.
