Did you miss the part where he said he wasn't cunning?  He failed at nearly everything he tried to do in office.

Really?  Yeah, it wasn't perfect, but there were a lot of successes:

1.  Strong economy

2.  No war

3.  Abraham Accord agreements

4.  Southern border was secure

5.  Other NATO countries forced to pay their fair share

6.  Kept Iranians and North Koreans in check

Biggest failures:

1.  pushing the Covid vaccines

2.  tax cuts were not warranted and helped blow up the deficit

3.  lack of political connections in Congress made it practically impossible for him to get legislation passed.

People like you generally focus on the noise and talking points and rarely examine the actual important issues.  Quite often, obnoxious, unlikable people can get the job done where others cannot.

Biggest failure for which I will not forgive him is getting in bed with Fauci and pushing the Covid vaccines.  As well, his lack of political connections in Congress made it practically impossible for him to get legislation passed.

1. Until the economy collapsed and he ended his term having lost 3 million jobs, whoops.

2. We were literally at war the entire time he was president.  He even ordered more drone attacks in one term than Obama did in a single term.

3. Peace between countries that weren't in direct conflict.  Cool.

4. No it wasn't.

5.  No they weren't. NATO countries have actually started building their military's under Biden.  Something Trump failed to do.

6.  He took pictures and wrote love letters to Un.  Accomplished absolutely nothing.  And 100% sheet the bed with Iran.  Tearing up the nuke deal was probably the worst foreign policy decision in US history.  Got nothing out of it.  Failed to get a new deal.  Handed them a nuke a silver platter.  You truly have to be a drooling idiot to think that was anything but a complete faceplant.  The fact that you have it on a list of accomplishments tells me just how deep in the cult you are.

I am a registered Republican - but I have not - nor would I ever - have voted for the Orange Game Show Host.

How come the Maga Party isn't on the poll.

Republican, voted for Trump twice... liked his America first policies.

In the PA primary I will not be voting for Trump again as I feel he probably won't win the presidential election because all presidential elections are decided by the middle (10-15%?) of the nations voters.

Actually I was never registered Republican. Originally I was registered Dem and then switched to independent in my 20s.

We should take it a step further and allow anyone to be able to vote in both primaries. I'd be curious if we'd get less polarizing candidates under such a system in all states.

That's a really good sentiment - but I think it would only make things worse.

I really don't see how you get worse than Trump. Honestly. He's the most extreme candidate I can think of that's ever been nominated.

By having closed primaries you get only the most passionate and politically fanatical voters to nominate a candidate. As you open them up to more of the rest of the electorate, the resulting candidates should become more moderate, I'd think.

I know it's not a comforting thought that "the political enemy" voters could help vote for your party's candidate, but that's the very same tribal mindset that gave us Trump as president in the first place. We all keep saying how much we hated both options in the last two elections (soon to be the last three elections), well maybe having fully open primaries would've drawn in more independent voters during the primaries and possibly given us some better options for the general.

You are correct in that Trump is seemingly the worst ever - but just when it seems things can get no worse - we wind up with dreadful choices.

I think maybe including the independants might be a step in a postive direction.  I was always independant, but registered Rep to support a friend of mine locally.

Republicans - no surprises there . . .  Especially among those staunch conservatives Hunt, Alpha and Booger

Imagine making a poll and then arguing about the responses because they are not what they expected.

Seems crazy!

The lack of awareness is constant with that one.

I think North Carolina has the right idea on primaries (its just about the only thing I liked in NC aside form the beaches). You can vote in either primary, but you have to pick one. So if someone is voting for a candidate they dislike just to try to sink the other party, they are giving up their own vote.

I also wouldn't be opposed to parties choosing their own presidential candidates in smoke filled back rooms they way they used to do it.

I’m registered as a Libertarian but haven’t actually paid dues since the Mises Caucus hijacked the LPPA. I might get involved if Amash runs but I have been thinking about changing  my registration back to the GOP so I can vote for Christie.

Surprised by some of results considering the Trump and Biden threads

All bets are off if there's a strong third party candidate like Joe Manchin

Not everybody was truthful.  Do you seriously believe that Hunt and Alpha are Republicans?

That's pretty much what happened with the Democrats in 2020

No argument.  Just lies - unless of course you expect to see Hunt voting in the next Republican primary

"The results were not what I expected so they can't be true"

Definitely seeing a pattern here.

No you're right, CVON is populated with conservative republicans.  Any clear minded person can see that.  What could I have possibly been thinking?

Yeah, we know.
