which is wild because I set a "just in case" draft strategy to only taking "Flex" players in rounds 1-6, DST and K in the final 2 rounds, and a MAX number of RBs to I believe FIVE... so how this crap drafted me 8 seems wildly broken

A bunch of us from the old "Politically Speaking" (what is now CVON) section got together to drink scotch and play cards at one of the guys houses. It was actually really fun. People are nicer in real life than they are on the internet lol

I don't have experience with pre-season trades, but I feel like these are easier when everything is still projection-based and not influenced (sometimes incorrectly) by how a given player or team has done after 2-3 games

Before this week officially ends and Waivers go live, should we have a Bid ($$) style process? For some reason I thought that was how this was set up last year (I know I'm in my 3rd year in a league through the Guillotine site/app, and we've had a blind auction/budget).

In a knockout-style league, it feels like giving everyone equal opportunity to go after high-value free agents is is more balanced than a traditional "reverse draft order" waiver wire.
