Did the Eagles get a punter yet or will they just active Siposs?

No... going without a punter... 4th downs will be off the hook

Still no punter signed.  One possibility is that the one they want cannot be signed yet for whatever reason.  They would just activate Siposs for a few games and get the guy they really want.  The team go for more 4th downs than most teams.  Punting is not a high priority in that scheme.

I punted in HS for my football team. Also played LB. I could add depth to this team.

They need to make the right offer to me though. I won’t play for the Veteran minimum. I’m looking for a deal like Harden wants.

Maybe they plan to elevate Siposs on Sunday and wait to sign another punter until after week 1 (that way his salary isn't guaranteed).

After Wk 2, there will be a week and a half to work a new guy in.  (IF that's the way that The Howie plans to work it.)

Who’s the punter? They can’t possibly be so stupid as to be forced to go for it on 4th and 10 from their own 5…. can they?

  • 2 weeks later...

And now LB Kyron Johnson has been brought back to the practice squad.

He fills the open spot created when Seattle poached TE Brady Russell from the practice squad.

RB Bryant Koback also signed to the PS.  Post 1 updated with all of the recent changes.

I wonder who will make way for Jurgens then.

Calcaterra to IR seems like the easy choice.

And then I assume a Justin Evans for Josiah Scott swap coming (post Roby being healthy)

And then the question is what to do with Quez eventually

Bottom of the roster fight for a spot with ST playing a factor: Quez vs Penny vs C.Ellis vs P.Johnson I suspect.

Provided no one else needs a stint on IR by then...

Agreed.  We are a bit heavy there anyway with 4 on the 53.  Plus it would be nice to get Okwuegbunam on the field to see what he can do.
