Our local police in all their municipalities were mostly doing their jobs as usual. They were assisting as needed as far as I could tell. Last Friday they were in every driveway and business on the road where I work. I could have come in, they may have checked my car, but I chose to stay out of the way and worked from home that day.
September 13, 20232 yr Author Here's a link if any of you are interested in who Ancel Hamm was. Most of you probably weren't born yet. I was 11. https://chester.crimewatchpa.com/kennettsquarepd/14864/content/memorial Kennett was a little rough and tumble town. There was a bar (or 2) on every block on State St. You may have heard of the Johnston gang or seen the movie At Close Range. There were way less people here at the time. My neighbor was a cop, and it was a very scary and sad time. They caught him pretty fast. Several years ago, there was a Johnston gang member that escaped prison. That was huge around here as well. Not looking that up, but I think most all are dead now.

The place was called something like Kennel of love or cup of love dog kennell. We always used to stop for lunch for a bowl of mushroom soup. Yum.

Yes, that’s the group. The movie is underrated and worth a look. Several big names in the cast.

Just saying this was quite an operation that we are not used to seeing in action and dealing with everyday. In seeing this effort come to a satisfactory conclusion, I still have no issue with it. I totally get you wouldn’t have done that. But the sports fan in you would of I think.
