The opposing QBs will constantly throw the ball quickly and dink and dunk the ball down the field. I hope they scheme better because we could be in for a long year if not.

September 13, 20232 yr We were playing against a Bill Belichick coached D. Belichick is the best that ever did it as far as Defense is concerned. Let's wait until after Thursday, and maybe even the next Sunday to call Super Bowlz or Tatergeddon.
September 13, 20232 yr I don't think we're overhyped, however, I do think some of the competitive teams from last season like the Niners and Cowboys, at least on paper, have improved, whereas I think we've taken a step back. I would put us in the playoffs, but I don't think we're going to the Super Bowl again, I'd be glad to be proved wrong.

Dink and Dunk isn't as easy as it seems. Mistakes are typically made.

They can’t just go out there thinking they can just beat everyone because who they are. They will need to work much harder than that. I do wonder if some of the older guys might be nearing the downside of their careers. That’s the NFL though. Expectations, thoughts, and outcomes change almost weekly.

September 15, 20232 yr This team cannot coach young players up, this team is very undisciplined. Sirianni needs to stop all the unintelligible coach speak, and get on their asses. Pre-snap penalties are still a problem. They are still figuring things out yes. But, this team lacks any cohesion. Also the Dline is not getting to the QB. They are going to keep getting eaten alive in the defensive secondary.

September 15, 20232 yr Worry. This is just an average team right now. The way the Eagles are playing, 9-10 wins tops. Lucky to be 2-0, but they won't be able to keep that up if the team continues to play like this. The offense for sure is not being coached properly. Brian Johnson needs to be demoted back to QB coach and the team needs to find a real OC. Johnson's in over his head and it shows.

It's not that they were overhyped - it's that there is a significant downgrade of coaching quality on this team. Saw the same thing after the last SB. This team gives off a 2018 Eagles vibe.

Eagles damn near had 5 turnovers... that's pretty sick.
