Week #2 - Pick a WR/Flex

Bench Drake London? Penix and Tua are out for the Falcons again this week. Cooper Rush gets the start again, who was absolutely dreadful throwing last week. London suffered because Rush could not complete anything downfield.

My other options are Terry McLaurin against the Cowboys or Deebo Samuel vs. Dolphins. McLaurin last week against the Eagles was actually worse than London. Bounce back week? Deebo was looking frisky against the Rams. He scored a TD. Gets the Dolphins at home this week. Another option is I can put Chuba Hubbard at Flex going to Atlanta.

Ongoing Fantasy Football Advice Thread

We could really use a thread where people can just ask general questions and get advice from others. Who to pick up, who to drop, who to play, etc.

I will start. I'm in a 12 team PPR $ league and I love my WR's, TE's, and QB is adequate.

QB - Daniels, Goff

WR - Amon-Ra, Kupp, Godwin, Cooper, Brian Thomas Jr.

TE - Kelce, Parkinson

RB on the other hand is rough. Ken Walker, Aaron Jones, Zamir White, Javonte Williams, Zach Charbonnet. There isn't much out on the waiver wire. Best guys are Justice Hill, Tank Bigsby, Jaylen Wright, Braelon Allen, Marshawn Lloyd. I'm trying to move Cooper for a RB but after a bad week 1 and his QB continuing to be a fraud I haven't had any luck. Any advice or insights would be cool. I'm heavily leaning towards dropping Williams for a stash/potential league winner like Bigsby or Wright. Denver's offense is awful and I don't see Williams ever being anything more than a committee back with McLaughlin. White concerns me too but not as much and I want to see how he does for another 2-3 weeks. Sooner or later I'm going to have to find a trade.

We did this last year (i won 😀) but now Mike isn't on the board the thread has disappeared and he organised it. We can still do this through ESPN site but need to know numbers of those interested.

i couldn't find fordy & jwill when i did the @ thing....so maybe they're on here under different names? or not at all...which would make the draft extremely difficult.

quick refresher on the rules. 10 team league (free). it's a 4 round draft. in the first 3 rounds, we draft nfl teams. that gives you the rights to all the players on those teams. in the 4th round, we draft individual players from the 2 leftover nfl teams who weren't drafted. after the draft, you can go onto the espn site & fill your roster with players from the 3 nfl teams you drafted (and the player you drafted in the 4th round) only. after week 1, it turns into a normal league where you can do drops/adds for players on any team.

we do the draft on here since it's only 4 rounds. i think that's it. rosters are as large as espn will allow.

Looking for another league in 2026? Look no further. I am trying to throw together an additional 12 team PPR league for this season. All are welcome, experienced or newbies or somewhere in the middle. We can play on ESPN or Yahoo, doesn't matter to me. Let me know if you are interested.

I lost interest in fantasy football for a while. DFS took over, and then lost interest in that.

Currently I am in one league with someone from work. Its a 10 team league with a bunch of people that dont know what they are doing. People take QBs really early- like, the guy picking 9th had Puka Nacua fall to him.

And defenses can even go in round 2....

Furthermore, there are only 14 rounds. I feel the bench can be 1 player deeper. Even still, there were about a million players I would have been interested in taking fliers on still left when the draft ended. I HATE seeing all the talent still available.

What I found is that I now have this itch that is not being scratched- to be able to use my deeper knowledge of the draft and actually draft some upside guys with deeper rosters, in a deeper league (12 teams would be nice).

I have a friend who plays in a league that has a rookie draft each year, and then a regular draft. They are able to trade picks, and future picks. And they have a practice squad. Something like that actually sounds fun to me at this point- even though I wanted to be completely done with fantasy football for a while. But short of that, I would be happy to at least do a 12 teamer with maybe a super flex, deeper bench... something like that to switch it up a bit and make things more interesting.

Would anyone want to do something like that here? Im asking for someone to take control and be commish and set it up however you like with some suggestions from above.

Week #12 - Pick a RB

I have several options at RB to choose this week. Who would you pick?

Woody Marks looks ready to go against a leaky Bills D on Thursday. He is out-touching Chubb by a lot lately. Texans are starting backup QB Mills because Stroud couldn't clear concussion protocol in the short week. Do they keep it safe and hand it off? Is Marks worthy of the start in a piece-meal offense going on Thursday?
Kenny Walker looks like the better option for Seattle but he remains entrenched in a RBBC with Charbonnet. Good matchup against the Titans awaits.
Or I can choose another RBBC decision: Swift is the dynamic RB for Chicago. But they are giving goal line carries to Monangai. The Bears are playing against a relatively better D against the Steelers.

What are you doing about the Tight End position? Kittle is on IR. Kelce is getting old. Hockenson is suffering from bad QB play. LaPorta is up and down. I guess if you splurged early in your draft for Bowers and McBride you are doing ok. But even they are not doing as good as advertised.

What's your Tight End strategy? Have any advice?

I need a Flex player this week out of the above options. McConkey vs. Giants should be a slam-dunk matchup, right? But Egbuka looks really good. Godwin may return to action this week, but Evans is out. I also have Chubb on the bench with a good matchup vs. Titans. But he doesn't offer much upside in PPR. How would you play this?

I need a RB to start alongside Saquon. These are my choices: Kenny Walker was in a 50/50 timeshare with Charbonnet. That puts him on my bench this week. At least Chubb and Swift are in a lead-back role. Which one would you start?
