A lot of hearsay but you get the impression the whole thing definitely doesn't happen without our involvement. I'm sure we're still helping them in general, but not sure how much we have as much of a hand in things with that specific of a target at such scale these days. As with anything, we won't know until well after the fact.

I hope that was the intent, and Israel shows restraint. But I don't think that is how it will play out.

October 2, 20242 yr They "didn't hit anything" because the IDF isn't going to say if they did hit anything. Looking at the videos, you can tell they hit stuff, it's just a question as to how accurate they were.

October 2, 20242 yr Author Several of the missiles made it to the ground intact. Whether they hit anything or not is in question and really makes no difference. They basically drove the entire population into cover for over an hour and the shrapnel alone from the intercepted devices was enough to potentially injure and even kill several people.

That or their missiles suck or the iron dome worked or some combination of these things. Iran plays the game of attacking what they can without drawing the US into a direct confrontation.
