I'm a tad confused. What is the discrepancy between what is being reported and what you think happened?

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

I'm not a pilot, but if this is true what a miracle all around. Co-pilot being stabbed with a hatchet, crawling to open the door, the people who fought back and the fact there were two other pilots were able to take over. Amazing

Apparently the key was he hit the button to unlock the cockpit door. He also set the transponder to the hijacked frequency.

I was thinking the other day how pilots have to be built differently. They accept and embrace that at any given moment their job is to give up their lives to try and save the people on their aircraft and they will do anything necessary. He was losing blood, fighting off shock, injured/incapacitated and kept it together. Astounding.

Take the L and just say one of your people screwed up

Holy crap the NYT is having a bad day

The fact that an attempted hijacking and terrorist attack is being reported as an "altercation", and "two pilots getting into a fight mid-air" . I mean come the f on......

Have you ever heard anyone refer to what happened on Flight 93 on 9/11 as "there was an altercation during the flight"?????

Short Indian guy did something badass. Let Vikas have this one guys.

Dude still has blood all over him. Someone couldn't at least get him a t-shirt?

Pretty sure the co-pilot stabbing the pilot repeatedly and then trying to crash the plane isn't best described as "pilots get into a fight mid-air."

But I know your agenda so have it.

I genuinely didn't know. My agenda here has been pox on both houses from the start.

It was an altercation between pilots and guys with box cutters

Damned if you do and damned if you don't in reporting, I think you guys might be jumping the shark a bit. First reporting is allowed to be cautious in its wording until the facts come out.

Knowing Bibi he probably preferred him covered in blood for the optics.

The nice thing is they all have Krav Maga and military training because of the requirement to serve

Hopefully he will recover

Why is anyone surprised. It's the moment those people have been training for their whole lives

yeaaaaah except for the fact that those same news outlets were running with "Israel Bombs hospital in Gaza!" after a HAMAS rocket landed in the parking lot of said hospital. Seems like this goes beyond "exercising caution"

Also, sure let's say we don't want to assume it's a terrorist attack until more facts come out about the suspect and his motives. Ok, well 1 pilot stabbing the other pilot and then trying to crash the plane is still NOT an example of "an altercation happening on the flight". And it's also very safe to say this was a "possible terrorist attack" at this point in time.

It was an amicable hijacking attempt by the Religion of Peace.

Meanwhile...

She'll probably get hired by the NY Times tomorrow

Not here for the political BS but it was a great story of heroism and a miracle they survived
