It’s just political posturing.

There was a march in Charlottesville, VA in 2017 where the group chanted "Jews will not replace us.”  Afterwards Donald Trump said there were "very fine people on both sides.”   When the media called him out for it, his defenders doubled down.  Republicans don’t care about anti-semitism.  They just hate academia.

What does Donald Trump have to do with that clip? Was Donald Trump the one up there asking those school presidents the question, or was it Rep Elise Stefanik?   Because here's what Rep Stefanik said after the Charlottesville riots "ideologies such as white supremacy are morally repugnant and have no place in our society."

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

Wait, you mean she wasn't calling on him to resign when he made those comments?

They just couldn't bring themselves to call it harrassment when it clearly meets the criteria. It's almost like the more Stefanik pressed them, the more defiant they got. They pretty much became the meme:

If Republicans treated everything like they treat anti-semitism on college campuses we'd be doing alright.  Unfortunately, Stefanik's decided that "de-humanization" that could lead to violence against a minority is a terrible thing that must be condemned at all costs...unless of course it's Trump's nightly (hourly?) dehumanization round up to a bunch of rabid cult members, then it's just for funzies.

He's just trying to excuse his support for Hamas.

Aaaaaaand wtf does this have to do with these 3 school presidents saying that calling for the genocide of Jews doesn't violate the school code of conduct?

You know damn well that what the answer to that question would be if you replaced the term "Jews" with "Blacks", "muslims", "gays", "lesbians", "trans" etc...

And you could say the same thing about partisan democrats as well.  I mean, this has been abundantly clear since October 7th, right?   The Democrats which claim to be the champion of minorities suddenly have gone awfully quiet when it comes to the targeting of Jewish people....

No one is arguing that there aren't partisan people out there that have a double standard of their criticisms dependent on the identity of the perp/victim.

Yes. I have never given them a dime and I never will. This is abhorrent.

What's wild is they fumbled that question not once, not twice, but three times. And this is their answer that they gave on the stand in a public setting. One can only imagine what they say and how they think behind closed doors around their peers.

The worst thing is that all of them actually know and agree with the correct answer. They just have zero spine and zero moral standing. Pure pandering. The fact that we have the heads of our best institutions taking this course of action shows how far the country has fallen. The likes of Munson and Moss are  slowly winning and the only alternative at the moment is worse, an orange ball of pure filth.

What's truly unreal is Penn is known as being the Jewish school among the Ivies. Most of my good friends from college are all Jewish, and the alumni donor base is also overwhelmingly Jewish.

"is" about to re-conjugate into "was"

Was. The donor base was overwhelmingly Jewish. After this I expect them to ask Drexel for a loan

She carries more water for Donald Trump than almost anyone else out there.  You do know that, right?  Because those university presidents certainly know it…

Sounds like a lot of people here miss the old days when college presidents were fan-boys of U.S. foreign policy.  Thank god times have changed (a little bit)

Now college presidents just live in fear of upsetting their student bodies.  That's not any better.  For them, for the faculty or for the students.
