Here lately I’ve started thinking that maybe Micron is right, that an "international coalition” should take over for the IDF, get rid of Hamas, then work to build Gaza back better. Then I remember the other times that’s happened, Iraq and Afghanistan come to mind, and what a disaster those turned out to be for US, and realize that that’s definitely not the answer either. Bottom line though, one way or another, Hamas has to be destroyed.

A Hamas official came out and actually discussed this directly. He said basically the tunnels are for Hamas to hide and attack Israel. When asked about civilians in Gaza he called them martyrs. He said their deaths essentially are required. I will try to find the link and edit it in here. I read it earlier today.

There is actually a lot of evidence of this taking place. Terror groups, Iran and N Korea are some of the largest threats to your crypto stash.

Yes everything is on chain. Yes you can see these transactions, it's not easy to connect the accounts and wallets being used to these actors but the connections are there.

My statement is not a negative opinion of digital currency. It's simply a recognition that a lot of stolen crypto ends up in the hands of some shady organizations or nations.

Overall this is no different than regular money. Same ISH different currency.

I mean, sure, you could slaughter all of the Palestinians, effectively commit genocide, and "end” it.

But if your plan is to flatten Gaza, kill as many Hamas members as possible, rebuild Gaza, and then incorporate it into Israel, then nothing will change. You’ll just have a new generation of pissed off people committing terrorism.

Right, the plan is to kill Hamas. But that plan will unfortunately result in a LOT of innocent Palestinians living in Gaza being killed, and even those who don’t suffer death to themselves or their families will have their lives ruined from being displaced from their homes, losing their jobs, etc.

This is going to create an entire generation of Palestinians that DESPISE Israel and the Israelis. And you’re going to then move these people back into Gaza? Or are you going to have demographic replacement and move Israelis into those neighborhoods?

And this is the mistake we should have learned in Afghanistan and Iraq.

All people are not the same. You can’t compare the Japanese or Germans to the Palestinians or Middle Easterners in general. They have radically different cultures, religions, and dispositions as a people.

Expecting the Palestinians to just "get on board” the way the Germans or Japanese did after WW2 is foolish. They won’t, and we shouldn’t pretend it’s possible that they will.
