I just think moves will need to be made and it could be one move they make if it helps them to acquire someone like Garrett. I read it as: He enjoys the moment. He plays for the moment. He's not going to hang his hat on a Lombardi Trophy while he is in the prime of his career. If it was a league MVP trophy, I think he'd feel the same way. You can only stare at a trophy so long before it gets old. He'll probably enjoy this and other accomplishments more after his playing days are over. But right now, it sounds like he wants to get back to work. That's what he enjoys. He's just not wired for prolonged celebrating.

That would be a great ending to aj Brown's time here send him to effing Cleveland... 🙄

His IG post suggested he wants to be the dominant factor and that’s what drives him. Dude you're not STILL on the AJ wants to be traded thing? Come on.

At the end of his career he wants people to remember him as the guy who was completely dominant and was unplayable. He gets more out of that than he does trophies because he feels maybe that’s a greater legacy?

February 14Feb 14 I think he meant go say that he dedicated years of his life only towards this goal and expected it to be so much that reaching it couldn't ever be that. And it's still nice but the whole trying to get there was what it's all about. Obviously something you could only ever know if you won it all but I kinda get it. Still awesome they did it. I think in some years time he will feel different about it.

I think in some years time he will feel different about it. I think there’s certainly a degree of that. I think perhaps he expected the feeling to be greater than what it was? And I think that’s kind of true of anything when you put in so much work and effort and you dedicate your life to something. But I also think it’s because he doesn’t feel he’s had the individual season he’d have wanted. He had a very good season but it wasn’t truly dominant because of the way we played. I guess for a WR it’s got to be difficult right? They are able to put up such numbers but without touching the ball as much as a RB. Like a top WR gets what 6-8 catches a game? And can get like 100 yards with that. Imagine how many yards they’d get with 15 catches every game. But that also isn’t really possible.

I think next year teams will try even harder to stop Barkley which should help Brown get better stats.

Barkley isn’t going to get the same carries and yards next year so there’s good to be a need to throw the ball more. That’ll play more to AJ for sure. I think KC did a good job of shutting down Barkley and teams will look at that.

If (IF IF IF IF IF, let me just put emphasis the IF there for you) we traded Brown we would acquire additional draft ammo to then go and get Garrett. Who knows what it might take to get Garrett but let’s say for argument sakes it takes a first round pick… A higher first round pick is more appealing than our own.

Anybody trading for AJ is probably going to be a bad team so again, You really think the eagles would do that to AJ send him to a bad team after just extending him. IFIFIFIFIFIFIF they trade him. Also i just read it and didnt get what you did out of it, he just wants to work sitting around being satisfied that he won doesn't suit him it wasn't enough
February 14Feb 14 If the cost of getting Garrett involves moving on from AJ, then he can stay in Cleveland for all I care.

They way Howie structured the contract, it is inevitable (as he does with most players) to restructure. He does that regardless to move things around for the cap. He moves things to bonuses and things like that.

I mean Jesus! AJ wanting to leave was a rumor that died when he signed a new contract. His post-SB post is simply him reflecting on the feeling. He was expecting to be more satisfied but wants to get back to work for more. Hurts and Smitty have also shared similar, that they are focused on winning more. Hurts said the pain of losing the one 2 years ago still stings and the feeling of winning is good but he's still hungry (my paraphrase). AJ simply is reflecting. He and Hurts shared a moment after the game caught on the NFL Films mic'd up talking about their future.

I’m sure that he wants to get back to it and win the next one. But he clearly says what drives him is dominating his opponent. He didn’t get the opportunity to do that as much this year. I don’t think he was entirely satisfied with how things went despite how it ended. He wants to do more.
February 14Feb 14 I am trying to be nice I really am but sometimes it is tough. Today is a celebration so I won’t say what I want about certain posters that are……never mind being nice
