Slay and Bradberry in retrospect were regrettable signings. Putting our LB hopes on Dean was also highly regrettable and stupid. Scrub/patchwork FA signings too, also regrettable. And we still won’t address our LB or secondary issues meaningfully next year. With the Lurie/Howie philosophy I can guarantee it.

I don’t know if I’m going to watch another game until they bring in some advisors for both coordinators. This was just a heart wrenching for 4 straight hours. While I will always root for them, I can’t physically stomach sitting through utter trash schemes and play calling week after week. I just can’t do it.

No they playing with no emotions Hurts rolls out right and slides down for a 2 yard loss WTF is that crap and stop doing that WR pick they have gotten called for that the past 2 games stop that play because obviously the outside receiver can't act like he's running a slant route

It’s more than that. Much more. This team has a multitude of issues. We’re just scratching the surface.

I hated the Dean draft pick and thought it was laughable people were pushing to draft him in the first or second round. As for Bradberry and Slay... seems like the Eagles were desperate and there weren't other options. I think corner, safety and linebacker are huge needs for next year. Draft has to be defense heavy.

Maybe the Lions are playing at or above expectations and talent, we are doing the opposite.

Not really. Everyone already didn’t like what was done with the OC/DC situation. Already knew the defense was taking a serious hit losing, CJ Garner Johnson, TJ Edwards, White, Hargrave,  Epps etc…they accounted for the majority of tackles and turnovers on that team. Now all of a sudden this years 10 win Eagles must play with perfection every week or be frauds? And I’m definitely not making excuses for this game, it was pathetic. But people need to get outta here with the undermining your own team crap, talking bout calling it like you see it…y’all all welcome to get y’all know it all braveheart azzes out on that field and show’em how it’s done. No disrespect.

Who specifically? Sirianni?

You start with the OC and DC. Siri is a good "big picture” guy, but obviously needs technically strong coordinators. He doesn’t have that on either side of the ball. We have so much talent, but it is being wasted with two coordinators that get out schemed week after week. They don’t learn, they don’t adjust quick enough. They are total trash and are bringing down this organization. If Siri, Howie and Jeff want to blindly stick with these two calling plays/schemes, then they will continue to lose games to teams with decent talent. I can’t stomach watching this anymore.

I might agree with you if the team wasn’t so lucky even before the gauntlet. 13 games in and they still have yet to play a solid game, start to finish. True contenders don’t play partial games every week. True contenders don’t have the bad turnover differential we have. True contenders consistently score more than 7 in the first half. The problems we see now were all there before this stretch. People were blind to it because they were winning. So were all the teams I just mentioned, until it mattered most and the bottom fell out.

This team is a bunch of frauds.

Blind to what??? What didn’t we know??? That’s nonsense…and so is luck. So I guess The Birds uncharacteristic fumbling and non catches was "luck” for Dallas huh? The Eagles WON those games. PERIOD. Respect that. Smh.

We really need to ask why this offense is so bereft of "easy, reliable" plays. Every other team has dumpoffs, quick outs, slants. But noooo for us its always a super tough throw to AJ whos covered...or just designed QB runs.

Yeah, every yard we gain seems so hard while other teams with less talent move the ball with ease.

I think the players are just as frustrated as us fans and it’s showing in their play. They are beat before the ball is hiked. 3rd and 5 and all routes go deep?! Who the F calls that?! BJ does, that’s who. It’s either a  QB draw, WR screen or a slow developing/deep route play. It’s like he has 11 plays on his play sheet. And our D scheme is just as elementary as our O scheme.

I’m not mad about the slay/bradberry signings. We needed dbs and I was surprised we were able to sign them both. Dean was always a question mark and I didn’t mind picking him where they did, but he’s not a MIKE in the NFL. 30 some odd snaps last season convinced some idiot our LB issues were solved though.
I have zero faith that we will address the secondary or LBs seriously in the draft. They’ll look for a DE or two early, then a TE. We may address needed issues after the 4th, but they’ll all be projects. We’ll also continue the patchwork F/A stuff to plug holes with scrubs. The Lurie/Howie philosophy works well enough to keep us competitive, but not a dynasty. Not a gold standard as Jeff says.

Andy’s IHOP menu is sorely needed here

They got by too many teams in too many games by too little. And even lost to the Jets. Now, the last two games it has caught up with them.  They lost to two much better teams. Hopefully, they can beat the Seahawks, and win the rest of their games. On paper, they should. But I would not be surprised if they don’t make it past their first playoff game. Unless they play much better than the last two games.

Great game, look forward to next week

I know this team has shown resiliency in staying and winning games to reach 10-1 However, in these last 2 losses the team have been exposed.

Our record suggest we should be better.  But even at 10-1, there many pointers that made me wonder if we were tough and gritty enough.

Offensively, there is no creativity.  We are not dictating anything.  Decent defenses are able to shut our running plays and make us 1 dimensional.

We are good enough to counteract when plan A fails. Although we have enough talent on offense, we don't have the swag or dawg mentality.  At the very least, we have not displayed the killer instinct.  We have yet to play a complete offensive game.

Defensively, the scheme is rigid and ineffective.  This team can't stop the runs.  They also, darn well, can't stop the passes.

We don't have any fiery leaders on D.  We are playing, uninspired, unemotional, with no confidence.  We are slow and mistake prone in the secondary.  We don't have any difference makers at LB.Our Edge rushers don't instill fear in anybody’s heart.  The defense is SOFT.

Simply put the defense is tired and overmatch.  We are just not good enough.

We are playing with no fire. We look old, slow, tired and uninterested.

I mean I just have no words. Yet earlier on with 3rd and 5 you go and throw it deep? There’s just no sense.

Hurts to me looks like he’s done with this play calling. He’s not the only one.

Yeah. Thinks awful. Hurts and Kelce by now should have their own checks at the line and just call stuff from last season lmao. This is the most highly talented  dysfunctional team I’ve ever seen. People are gonna clamor about the 10 wins, but we really don’t do anything well on either side of the ball. We have nothing to hang our hats on. Desai is a fraud and Johnson doesn’t know how to call offense.

At this late in the game, no one is getting fired. Heads will roll in the postseason if they don't make it to the SB, but it's too late to bring in someone to replace Desai and Johnson now.

The offense has talent, Hurts was great last year. Fire Brian Johnson. Siri needs to own some of it too.

On defense, they need an overhaul of the back 7.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Eagles look so bad right now my god.

Brown had a big drop and lost a fumble. Smith had a drop and lost a fumble. Hurts just missed Smith on a big pass and lost a fumble. Let's blame the Coordinators and Dean ...

This is the 2nd consecutive bad game by a team that through 13 games has stated each week they didn't play to their potential. Many of you want to blame the coaching. I'm looking at the players instead --- especially the leaders. I know Jalen can play better. He says he has to play better. It's time to stop saying it and just do it. I don't care what players say after the game. I only care how they play. I believe the effort is there, but the execution is lacking. The players don't deserve any awards except for the token participation ones.

If there is any greatness on this team, they'll turn it around.

Kinda sad to think that Minshew played better against Dallas last year than Hurts.

Yeah this loss isn't on the coordinators, your offense can't keep putting the ball on the ground in field goal range, or having well thrown balls go through their hands and expect to win. Desai just doesn't have the personnel on the back end, I genuinely can't recall a player dropping off a cliff as fast as Bradberry has this year, he's not close to what he was last year, or opposing receivers.

You clean up the mistakes and we'd have made a game of it Today, we'd just have had to beat a real homer of a reffing game, as it was we beat ourselves with sloppy execution at key moments which meant we couldn't keep pace with another offense our defense couldn't stop.

That’s what I meant when I said talent was is there. Of course I didn’t mean the defense. It’s Fing terrible. AJ brown and davonta smith are insanely talented and have shown it.

That offense looks clueless and broken though to be honest. It can be fixed but at this point I’m not sure how they do.

You are seriously just full of you know what. You said a  bunch of bad teams. You talked a bunch of dumbarse ish through every win this season. Didn’t you pledge to shut your silly mouth during games?

Washington are not good, we beat them twice. Buffalo are about average. KC are not as good as most of us thought. Patriots are not good. Minnesota are not good. We’ve beaten some bad, some average and maybe won against 2 good teams.

I'm just glad i didn't stay up until stupid o clock to watch this.
