Johnson also has slot CB experience could look to drop him down especially if/when Brown gets healthy who I thought had a good rookie year

Alot of nice signings by Howie. The new DC should be thrilled

Yeah, wish we'd do something in FA - lol! This is pretty unbelievable! Curious what we have left cap wise. All this while dullass basically did not much.

Explain this to Ham... this goes on EVERY OFFSEASON.

Because Dallas doesn't know how to write contracts and manage their cap.

Why is it weird that Dallas is quiet?   They haven't been able to make free agent moves for years.   They don't manage their cap correctly.... to be able to make free agency moves.

They have to resign their own overpaid guys first.   Never leaves them with much to do anything in FA.

I want to see Dak break the freaking bank one more time for Dullas!

Patrick Queen to Pittsburgh.

3 years 41 mil.     Basically the same amount per season that Jerry Jeudy is getting for this year.

Which player would you prefer to have?

Queen! NO QUESTION

Freaking twilight zone. Opened the app on my phone and it went to the old closed one, strange

Dullass waits until the last minute which gives players - their agents in most cases - the upper hand.

Would like to bring back some guys. Sweat doesn't fit Fangio's scheme, but I always liked him. Jobe, Eli Rick's and OZ all earned their spots.

Absolutely...they will wait and be forced to pay him more... watch Lamb and Parsons too.

Managing the cap....allows you to add free agents.... how many have Dallas signed in the last decade?   About as many as the Eagles have the last 2 days.

They draft pretty well... hype up their players, and wait to pay them so they take up too much cap space.    Just awful.... the same cycle year after year.

At least a team like SF will only suffer going forward because they were able to overspend last year.   Dallas doesn't even get the chance to make a mistake on a free agent.  Only lint on their pocket.

Would love this move;

Jesse Palmer of NFL Network shed light on the Eagles’ interest in Simmons, who has previously played under the guidance of the Eagles’ new Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio during his tenure as the head coach of the Denver Broncos. Palmer shared insights, stating, "Justin Simmons, you could think would be someone that the Eagles are targeting. Remember he played for Vic Fangio when he was the head coach in Denver and he’s one of the best safeties out there in football.”

Simmons is renowned for his exceptional range and disruptive playmaking abilities, making him a potential ideal replacement for the departed Kevin Byard. His impressive track record includes a staggering 30 interceptions since 2016, leading the league in this category. Furthermore, Simmons boasts a strong connection with Coach Fangio, as they played together in Denver from 2019 to 2021, accumulating 269 total tackles, 14 interceptions, and 36 pass deflections during that period.

With all the "makes me sick" posts by Micah Parsons whenever the Eagles make a move, whether it's the draft or FA, maybe he should consider becoming an Eagle next yr.

Earlier this week, the Eagles made one of the biggest splashes of free agency when they agreed to terms with Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley.

The deal is a three-year, $37.75 million contract with $26 million in guaranteed money, a league source confirmed to NBC Sports Philadelphia earlier this week.

But now we have all the details:

• This deal incudes a signing bonus of $11.625 million

• The full guarantee in this contract is $26 million

• Barkley has base salaries of $1.375 million in 2024, $11 million in 2025 and $12 million in 2026

• Just $1.5 million of Barkley’s 2026 salary is guaranteed

At least on paper the Eagles are the most improved in FA in the NFCE

No one else did anything

OT - Don't know how many of you wear eyeglasses. Just received a pair from eyebuydirect.com and they're amazing! Got them loaded - rimless like Silhouettes, anti-scratch, hi-tech ( 3 zone ) lineless progressive, blue light block, transition even in car for under $300 with a coupon I found online for 1st time buyers. On sale and even w/ insurance Lenscrafters was over $900! Great warranty and 14 day free return - if not for that I may not have gone thru with it and was still nervous even tho they're highly recommended by Forbes, CNN and Wirecutter. Can even preview them on your face online. All around great experience.

Jake Elliot with a nice 4 year extension...   Smith should be the last one, but probably waiting for Jefferson and possibly a few others to sign first.

They wait to get the CHEAP players because they have no money. Nothing to do with upper hands lol

Wuss got a few nice players

The Eagles have signed outside linebacker Julian Okwara.

Okwara spent the last four seasons with the Detroit Lions, playing in 38 games and making nine starts. The 26-year-old has recorded 54 tackles, 16 quarterback hits, nine sacks, and one interception.

This past season, the 26-year-old made seven tackles and two sacks in nine games. Okwara was waived before the Lions NFC Divisional Round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, signing with the Lions' practice squad a day later. However, Okwara did not receive a Reserve/Future contract with the NFC North Division Champions following the 2023 season, allowing him to sign elsewhere.

Did check out Zenni, have to be careful w/ returns/warranty stuff so went w/ these other guys - really impressed! So what if they're not real Silhouttes which now charge $500 just to drill the damn posts! That's what got me looking around in the 1st place as I've worn Silhouttes for 20 yrs or so.

Had to look up that OLB Okwara - they can't all be big name guys!

Hey GB - this Okwara lives down your way in NC

Chase Young taking his time - someone take him and weaken 9ers a little
