Total FA studs that are young and entering their prime. Such an obvious positional room so void of competition and talent. Azeez or Queen just such an obvious move to massively improve our team. Should have been no brainer move. Such low risk. Huge payoff would be reaped from a stud LB playing all the time.

Extending a year before a contract is over is how it’s done. But I guess the Fifth Year Option….doesn’t really count. But my fault and mistake. Seems like I knew Smitty was up for a new contract this offseason.

What we’ve been discussing about Jeudy. But 13 mil all guaranteed and all comes right off that year’s cap. That part is just brutal thoughts for Rosie to even consider: paying for a guy on the cap during the season he’s actually playing to earn it.

That’s what I found funny about NFL.coms assessment. Sidney Brown being healthy wouldn’t keep Ceedy Duce on the bench. Chauncey is clearly the best S we have. Probably DB all around. There should be no doubts or speculation about him ‘earning a starting position.’

We saw how as good a football player as Blank is….he just doesn’t have that big speed to do many of the difficult DB tasks. When he got taken down the sideline deep last season it wasn’t any surprise. Just something he physically can’t do. He has great football instincts. Really like him as a player. But his range, top speed and recovery speed are his limitations. Those things just can’t be coached. But surround him with better speed all around and his skills will be enough.

March 13, 20241 yr Think we should bring in Logan Thomas. Versatile TE that will do any of the jobs. Guy just seemed to always come through in Wash. He was even underutilized there. Their new ownership dumped him off not realizing his value. He’d come right in as the 2/3 TE job. Nothing spectacular. Not a huge signing. Just an easy cheap upgrade the TE depth signing.

We signed some nice players. maybe they didn;t want to play here,maybe they had friends on other teams(see AJ). There are a variety of reasons we didn't win the bid. 3 big time signings and you are complaining

All being smoke to cover for the fire of actually needing to move Sweat instead. The Sweat trade I’ve believed has been the real goal all along. Just the games Rosie has played to try and accomplish the trade. Trading away Reddick just doesn’t really add up much for me. He’s just such a quality player to need to sacrifice. If cap money isn’t in a dire situation? You keep players like Reddick.

Pass rusher is expensive. Especially since we have two high paid already rostered. Why can’t a starting LB be paid and rostered? Queen is 13 mil annually. With Rosie that would mean only a few mil against our cap for the next few years even. Like a pathetic four mil cap hit this season would be a typical Rosie signing. Why do we have to give up anybody or position just to pay 4 mil on the cap for a stud LB?
