May 30, 20241 yr A hard kick bouncing off the ground being arguably the hardest for a returner to field cleanly. Think like a very hard Baseball hit being fielded…but with an oblong ball…taking whatever crazy bounces and hops.

Going to have Post June 1st contract situations unfold…possibly could shake a decent player loose. Then at the end of TC some vets will be seen as beat out…or expendable and cut….or up for trade. Then you have the options that arise all the way up until the trade deadline. Better options will become available.

It’s good…but not great. If your goal is we field a competitive team? Then yes I’d say Rosie accomplished that. If the goal is celebrating a parade at the end of this season? Then I’d say no….Rosie didn’t accomplish that.

That I did when I started playing the game as a small child. Always a factor. It’s not ten yards either to make the tackle…it’s more.

You know here is no parade before we play 1 game? WOW what a defeatist attitude. I'm expect more. If the rooks come through and last years rooks step up you don't think this is one of the best rosters in the NFL?

Well playing defense you have 40 yards plus to set that up,with 10 not so much. On the kick off they are 10 yards apart as I see it

I mean barring another collapse?

D you don’t get 40 yards…and it’s more than 10 on these KOs. Angle of pursuit and finishing/completing the tackle are very crucial skills any KO coverage player will need. Oh…and the avoidance and disengaging from blocks.
