Have read that even in late October, lakes could be freezing over already. One of the main attractions for Mrs He was the color of the water which we wouldnt get in winter. Also have been finding that a bunch of attractions will be shut down for winter by then as well.

Heard that Niagara Falls is really very pretty!

I’m taking a break from different time zone travel for a bit. Flight diverted from Newark to freaking Syracuse due to storms. 2 angry sleep deprived kids stuck on the plane for 15 hours in what was supposed to be a ~9 hour flight.

I actually saw this(not these two) hiking down to Kilgore Falls in Maryland. Been hiking for over 60yrs and this is a first for me.
