June 11, 20205 yr I want to see Rocky Mountain N.P. when I'm in Colorado. What are must-do things? I am familiar with Grand Canyon N.P. and know that Grand Canyon Village is a nice "base camp" within the park, and must-do things are to hike some of the Bright Angel Trail, check out different viewpoints like Mather Point and Grandview Point, hike some of the paved Rim Trail, go to Desert View Watchtower, and so on. What would you suggest if there's just one day and you want to get in the big things, but also do something with smaller crowds?

June 11, 20205 yr @paco @binkybink77 you guys looking for a possible month or longer rental? My friend is a professional poker player and looking for somewhere to stay in july-possibly September to compete in the world series of poker. They are apparently doing it online this year and participants need to be in Nevada or jersey. I know it's a long time to rent the place and it might be too much for him, but I know he goes to Vegas every year for this for months so he's good for the money. Clean guy too
June 11, 20205 yr Hey man, thanks for thinking of us. We prefer longer rentals (less work for us) and normally we would be happy to let him rent it but unfortunately we are booked up for the summer. We have a few days here and there in September but otherwise we don't have any openings until October.

If so, take a drive on Trail Ridge Road. https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/trail_ridge_road.htm It's the highest paved road in Colorado and you get some great views. Also it goes across the continental divide, so you can pee in two different oceans at once.

June 11, 20205 yr So the wife wanted to go to Vermont for the fourth thinking most stuff is open up there. Not so much, and the hotels need to be used for essential travel. Now we are between Charleston, SC and Nashville. I’m leaning towards Charleston because it’s close to the beach but I think she wants Nashville. Not sure which one to do honestly.

I did text the guy in our building and will find out if he is interested and how much for a month (I assume that's what he was looking for) just in case. 576 sq ft 2 bedroom condo, on the beach (behind dunes) with an ocean view

Better chance of a cool breeze in July in Charleston, due to the ocean and all.

On the other hand, anything to just not bother with in the park? For instance, I would say that you don't need to stop at every overlook at the Grand Canyon, if you're pressed for time.
June 12, 20205 yr We postponed our 2 week honeymoon to Portugal that was supposed to be June 28th. United and Lufthansa allowed us to reschedule for no fees. So now planning to hopefully go July 25th, right after our rescheduled now small wedding ceremony on July 24th. Fingers crossed.

The Canadian border is closed through at least July. We are confirming with Canadian renters, but looks like July is free. We charge 1300 a week but this includes the 100 cleaning fee we pay. For weeks beyond 1 week, it is 1200 per week. What would you and Schmoopie like fir your finder's fee? 🙂
