You think someone who wasn't gonna turn out to vote for him saw him almost die on camera, and still wasn't convinced, but then saw his fist pump and was like, "alright, him almost dying didn't affect me at all, but now that he did the fist pump? Yep, that pushed me over the edge, I'm definitely gonna vote for him now!" I guess I'm confused as to why you think his survival moves the needle and locks the election down, but don't think that picture or video of the fist pump does. I don't think it locks the election down. I think it was badass but will be forgotten as emotions settle in the next few months.

This is moronic nonsense that undermines your credibilty
July 14, 20241 yr Hate to say it, but this was likely a dress rehearsal for what is ahead. A real sniper with a real weapon and Trump would be dead right now. He’s fortunate this was simply some dumb goof playing GI Joe. Trump is the single biggest cause of the current volatile political climate. If he had been assassinated today, the reaction after reflection would be "that was bound to happen”

When George Bush dodged a shoe, all we have left is grainy low def antiquated cell phone video footage and the moment is never spoken about in schools. This trump picture will be in all history books under the chapter about the greatest president in the history of our great country.

Oh you mean the checks and balances Trump is trying to get rid of? It’s gonna be a full-fledged criminal enterprise on the level of Tammany Hall.

There are too many stupid people in this country that will easily forget about all the insanity of the past 8 years the moment that bullet grazed his ear. We shall see…i already bumped my bets on this
July 14, 20241 yr You guys why wasn’t Trump Florence Nightingale out there? Clara Barton? It’s like totally outrageous that he wasn’t tending to the injured and removing bullets and sewing up wounds. He pumped his fist instead! Ugh!

Pence declining to deny certification was the only thing that really saved a Constitutional crisis. Next time, you can be sure he'll have a Veep and more reps in place at federal and state levels who will play his game.

As long as he doesn't act like a complete lunatic about it by trying to blame it on Biden himself, turnout is going to see a huge boost from this, with the majority being in his favor.

I do believe, though, that he was trying to prove his physical state as that has been a key talking point of his during the election when compared to his opponent. Whether or not it makes him badass in a person's eyes, it did back up his self-hype physically.

Trump gets shot, and stands up and says Im still here, and Im going to continue fighting. Then he goes to a UFC event where Im fairly certain he can beat every fighter in that octagon.

How in the world will that be forgotten? The only thing more infamous than unsuccessful assassination attempts are the successful ones.

I'm having trouble following your thoughts. Probably because I'm tired. You sound like you are saying it won't impact swing voters and we agree. Today many may be leaning towards him, but in a few months when they go to the booth will they be thinking about today or the direction they want the country to go? They will forget about today and it will be what they think is best for their family. He'll get a bump in the polls but I think it will settle down.
