I was just coming here to ask the same question - we’re not talking about a 1000 yard shot here.  Reports are saying the building he fired from was like 130 yards away.  Absolute failure all around.

He's incredibly lucky to be alive. It must've been horrific and extremely traumatic to witness that in person for all involved, including him too. This ish needs to stop now, I'm so F'ing tired of it.

I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

Or let’s not escalate the violent rhetoric, and act surprised when we reap what we sow.

He tilted his head to the side right before the shot - likely saved his life.

I spend a lot of time on here trolling and trying to irritate the libs in here, but this really sucks.  I love being an American, but I really really don’t like what we’ve become over the past 8 years.

Damn, we love you too, brother.

Didn’t say that:  but how about we keep political campaigns and rhetoric to politics.

Be curious if the kid left any kind of manifesto

There is a video of him saying he hates Republicans and he hates Trump.

You don’t think Trump escalates rhetoric?

That's been debunked from what I've seen.

I'm sure that's what he was saying. Trump isn't completely innocent in all of this. We're all well aware of that.

This is what should be read over and over.

You don’t think two wrongs make a right? You can’t condemn violent rhetoric on one hand, and then condone it on the other.

So much for the Liberal Conspiracy. How do explain this?

Who is saying that he hasn’t? Of course he has.  It’s that rhetoric which helped lead to the nonsense we saw on January 6 as well.  He needs to stop too.  Note I said EVERYBODY.

Oh a YouTube video, I wasn't aware you did your own research. Got any from a yoga instructor?

Then you give a thumbs up as you quickly get to safety where you can fully assess the situation, you don't say "fight" three times without knowing what else has transpired.

That wasn't the speech he had planned, but it was still a rally.

I think most people will agree with this statement.  The question is if most people can move beyond the tribal behavior.  Sadly, at this point, it seems like the answer is no.

So that's not him?  Was the video of him saying I hate Republicans staged as well?

It's of some social media user who looks like him and made it as a joke apparently.

To be clear, I don't think it's a stretch to assume that the guy who attempted to assassinate Trump (and was committed to it knowing full well his own life would end as a result) clearly hated Trump. You don't do something like that unless you're so consumed with hate and afflicted with mental illness that you don't envision any other way to live out the rest of your life.

But the particular video you're referring to is apparently of someone else, not the shooter.

He’s also donated to Democrat PACs.  Isn’t bethel a right leaning area? In PA (and this probably isn’t just unique to PA) there were people living in one party leaning areas and registering for that party in order to be able to vote in the primaries to help put in a candidate that they thought their guy would be able to beat in the general.
Or if just in general if you live in an area that leans one way you may want to register with that party as it’s the only way to really have a say in local elections.
I live in a left leaning area so I register Democrat just for the simple fact so I can have a say in my local elections as the Democrat primary is typically the actual race as very few republicans win.
