I'm not sure how this fits into what you're looking at, but my understanding was that there was about 400 ft. between the shooter and Trump's Smollett hat. So it would take about 1/3 of a second for the sounds of the shooter's shots to reach the TV/cell phone microphones, and considerably less time for the gov. snipers' sounds. Plus, echoes often confound these acoustic situations. Just something to perhaps factor in.

It's no different than in TATE when certain posters have "no love" (they hate when you say hate) for certain players and spin everything that happens, doesn't happen, is said or not said ... negatively about that player.

Look at shots 2 and 3 though, the shooter isn't even in position to be shooting and the muzzle of the rifle is much more downward then 'shot 1', if that was a shot. The camera likely isn't far enough away from the rifle to make a huge difference between the shot being taken and the sound of the shot being fired. I've been to many ranges, both in and out of the military, and I've never noted a big difference in seeing someone fire a shot vs. when I'd hear said shot. But to be fair, I wasn't ever concentrating on that variable, either. So maybe it was there and I just didn't pay attention to it.
