I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

I mean I’d imagine being shot at and being hit anywhere in the head area at an event where others were shot and one died is a traumatic experience. The golfing right away is stupid because he probably should take some time to actually process what happened. But it does take a tough person to get right up and keep going. Or a crazy person. Either or.

Depending on what the device is they simply may not be able to get past the lock.  Some locked devices just aren't crackable at this point, e.g. iPhone 14/15.

Others can take days/weeks depending on the length and complexity of the passcode.

Hold it up to his face. Shouldn’t it open?

A good guy with a gun!

Shirley, you can't be serious.

Exactly!!!

What the actual hell??? I'm not into tinfoil hats, but that is pretty inexcusable. I read something stating the SS snipers can't just take someone out until they see a weapon, but you'd think someone could have responded quicker. If some idiot 20-year-old can get that close, we are blessed that it wasn't some foreign agent with training.

That roof should have been a counter sniper location... which eliminates it as a potential shooting location for a would be assassin.

Yeah, if he had facial recognition setup and his face was intact.  I'm going to guess that approach isn't going to work or they would have already opened the device by now.

My names not Shirley and I’m kind of joking but kind of serious. I have a button still cause I’m cheap and get the SE but why can’t they just hold it up to his face?

im not saying you tell the public that’s what happened.

They wouldn’t use the finger prints for the CA terrorist before because of some law. I have no idea if his face was blown off or not.

Probably would have to put his face back together

Fingerprint/facial lock opening has most certainly been done many times over by govt officials, legal or not.  Not all devices have that feature and not everyone sets it up.

btw - Cali has some of the tougher laws when it comes to law enforcement and getting data off of cell phones.

Sure but my guess is a 20 year old didn’t think this through when he got his phone. Idk anyone that doesn’t use face or fingerprint.

I have a hard time believing a bunch of perverts on 4chan can hack and leak half of Hollywood's nudes but the federal government can't crack some mid west incel's iPhone 3. Whether or not they'd actually tell us is another thing.

Trump takes a cart so yeah.  Carrying a bag up and down hills for 4+ hours is not a bad bit of exercise for a 78yr old though.  Walking 18 is 5-6 miles depending on the course.

Lot more if you can't find your ball.

Well, the first good guy with a gun took a pass, so it wasn't until after the shooter killed people, that others took action.

Not that I really believe the NY Post, but if true relying on local PD to secure a presidential political rally in a rural area seems ill advised.

I used to play softball with some friends from high school, one of which ended up becoming a USSS agent. From the stories he would tell, they were responsible for securing everything, relying on local PD for very little aside from shutting down roads and diverting traffic. To the point where he was stationed to guard fire escapes of a building two blocks away while Obama was attending an event at a hotel because they wanted to ensure nobody could get roof access of nearby buildings, somehow traverse them to the top of the hotel, and possibly use explosives to bring down the top floors, or something to that effect.

Now it's probably different for a sitting US President vs a former one, but blaming something like this on local PD seems strange.

The area the shooter was in was under local LE responsibility. (There’s three tiers: close, medium, and long. Locals get the medium.) The USSS should have briefed them better and there still should have been uniforms on the roof, but coordinating something like this is a tough task, especially for local PD. Counter sniper team did their job well. They’re focused on long range threats, so when the shooting started you can see them depress their barrels towards the threat. In the span of a few seconds they went from looking a few hundred yards out to about 150 and hit a target the size of a cantaloupe.

long story short the local LE messed up, but the USSS should have held their hands a little more.

No doubt they have tried all options.  He may have been using an older device without the tech.  Plenty of Android devices didn't have it say five years back.

pics were posted in here. I think his face is pretty intact. someone said he was hit in the back of the head and bullet exited through his mouth.

Those seem like mutually exclusive statements
